Threads disappear ... I posted this to bloggers and personal but the News & Activism topics come up, I get pinged over & over for the same posts, and etc..

What's going on?!! Are we under attack?

I heard on Rush that your VAT is going to be 20%

Our GST (vat) is only 5%.

I bet that's a VAT ON TOP OF all the curent taxes.

That's exactly what it is.

Our Goods and Services Tax (GST) added 7% to the cost of every product and/or service.
The Conservative gov. of the time, (Mulroney) introduced it, and the Liberals led by Chretien campaigned on getting rid of it. Then they didn't.

It wasn't until Stephen Harper was voted in that the GST was reduced first to 6%, and then a year later to 5%.

In Ontario, we also pay Provincial sales tax of 8%

This is over and above the federal and provincial income taxes, and user fees we must pay each year.

You know what's wrong here? Obama is trying to turn the USA into Michael Moore's vision of Canada.

It can't work, because it's not real. And they aren't smart enough to figure that out.
Or, it's on purpose.
