I think George Will is right. He was certainly right about Marco Rubio at a time when very few believed it was possible. Right now all three candidates are within striking distance of Boxer. DeVore has in particular gained a lot of ground with his clear message of mainstream conservatism which is in stark contrast to his opponents. I think DeVore can win against Boxer.

I would feel better if George Will didn’t like him so much.

I gained respect for Will when he pretty much endorsed Rubio.

Yea, Will said Palin will lose 44 states...
I don’t put a lot of stock in his opinion.

Same here.
George Will is an 0bama loving progressive. He is part of the problem.
On the other hand, I saw DeVore on Glenn Back last week. He is the real deal.

We don’t need Carly Fiorino to win it. She has too much baggage. She failed as the CEO of Hulett-Packard and for some reason, she seems a little too liberal for me.
Is she pro-choice or does anyone know?

I sure hope Will is right. But Fiorina has tons of money, and Campbell is the darling of the editorial boards (... until the GENERAL election, when said boards tend to dump him for the Democrat). Go Chuck!

That’s ok. Sometimes good people can be wrong and right. Palin if she keeps herself together and more importantly learns to be exude confidence like she does at her rallies on TV she will do fine. A lot of people conservative and not talk down Palin. I think she has it in her to prove them wrong.

There will be states that Mr. Obama won’t be able to run in next time, since he’ll have to show a birth certificate. So who will they run, Joe Biden? LOL

Chuck DeVore
SHOULD be the Republican nominee.
It's all a matter of Republicans not voting out of fear and being manipulated by the media into voting for somebody else, as they have repeatedly done in the past.

Joshua Treviño, DeVore for California communications director, put it like this: "If the liberal media could design its ideal Republican, it would be Tom Campbell. If the liberal-Republican establishment could design its ideal Republican, it would be Carly Fiorina. With that media, and that money, it's no surprise we've got an uphill climb. Fortunately, if conservatives could design their ideal Republican, it would be Chuck DeVore. After everything that's happened, who's going to count out the grassroots conservative choice in 2010?"

He’s wrong on Palin, but right on DeVore if we don’t let the media pick our “man”. He is the only conservative in the race and a good one too. Might as well toss a coin to choose in a race between Fiorina and Boxer. Campbell is only a shade better, still no reason to go to the polls, but DeVore is a solid affirmative vote for conservatives. As usual the best candidate is the least well-funded one and can use all the help we can give him.

I saw DeVore on Glenn Back last week. He is the real deal. Bears repeating, I hope California is paying attention.

I hope Will is right. Having Devore, a solid conservative, face off against Barbara Bonehead in what looks like a very bad year for Dims would be great.
