I think George Will is right. He was certainly right about Marco Rubio at a time when very few believed it was possible. Right now all three candidates are within striking distance of Boxer. DeVore has in particular gained a lot of ground with his clear message of mainstream conservatism which is in stark contrast to his opponents. I think DeVore can win against Boxer.

I would feel better if George Will didn’t like him so much.

We don’t need Carly Fiorino to win it. She has too much baggage. She failed as the CEO of Hulett-Packard and for some reason, she seems a little too liberal for me.
Is she pro-choice or does anyone know?

I sure hope Will is right. But Fiorina has tons of money, and Campbell is the darling of the editorial boards (... until the GENERAL election, when said boards tend to dump him for the Democrat). Go Chuck!

Chuck DeVore will be the Republican nominee
Chuck DeVore
SHOULD be the Republican nominee.
It's all a matter of Republicans not voting out of fear and being manipulated by the media into voting for somebody else, as they have repeatedly done in the past.

I hope Will is right. Having Devore, a solid conservative, face off against Barbara Bonehead in what looks like a very bad year for Dims would be great.

George Will is right more often than he is wrong (though I don't always agree with him). And, I believe he is right on DeVore. Boxer is vulnerable and symbolizes what is wrong in DC: Arrogance, incompetence, and lethargy.

I'm voting for ABC: anyone but Campbell.
Part of my thinking is driven by the polls. If DeVore stays where he is now, under 10% last time I heard, I'll vote for Carly just to stop Campbell. I'll vote for DeVore if he is competitive. If it is a two-person race, I'll vote for the possible RINO (Carly) instead of the proven RINO Campbell.
The Florida race is not necessarily applicable to CA. In CA, abortion and "gay" rights are very popular. Boxer has a ton of cash and will get support from her usual femi-nazi, homosexual, union thug, and dead voters--likely enough to get her usual 53% of the vote.
Scott Brown notwithstanding, and even in a Republican year, it will be difficult for an unknown state senator to defeat a well financed Rat in California.

It’s early in the game, Let’s have a round or two of debates and go from there.
Go Chuck!
