Joseph Stack, the anti-capitalist who killed two yesterday in a 9/11-style attack in Austin, published a "manifesto" online, which ends with the communist creed.
What is most striking about this man's ramblings is that they read, at times, very similarly to a Keith Olbermann (MSNBC host) monologue.
We find many of the contradictory ideas to which today's Left holds. To Mr. Stack, George Bush was a "puppet", but yet he had "cronies". To Mr. Stack, General Motors executives were reliant on their "overwhelming stupidity" for being "thugs" and "plunderers". Mr Stack had also been convinced of the idea that "insurance companies are murdering tens of thousands of people a year" (Where did he get that idea? Olbermann: ObamaCare Opponents 'Killing 45000 People/Year,').
It is clear this man derived much of his manifesto from leftist big media, which has become much more extreme in recent years.
But how many times have we seen this?
How about John Hinckley? The man who tried to kill President Reagan was brimming with media inspiration.
Thankfully none of the many leftists who expressed a desire to kill President Bush ever had an opportunity to live out their media-inspired ideas. But there are many pictures available of them acting those ideas out, with fire and violence.
And most recently one Mr. Jeremy Olson was arrested for throwing objects at Sarah Palin while she was holding her baby son. And what was the media response to this media-inspired event? They lamented the fact that the man missed his target.
Big media has gone too far in their constant attacks of republicans and conservatives.
Big media are creating people like Mr. Stack every day,

Any one know whether Keith Olbermann can fly? Maybe Stack's actions will inspire "Crash" Olbermann.
By big media, you don’t mean Fox News, Rush, Hannity or Beck, do you? They are the media leaders I believe.
can’t we just say the guy was a stupid liberal move on? I’ll no more blame Olberdork than I will “right-wing talk radio.” The lefties will blame talk-radio, of course, but I prefer to take the high road.
the guy was a nut...end of story.
Damn. I thought you were banned?
OOOh you cursed. Nope never even been close, at least to my knowledge. What have I said that made you think that?
It was a bit ‘rambling’ but not incoherent or demented. He was just at the end of his rope not unlike thousands or millions of others. I won’t justify what he did. Taking ones own life and that of innocent others is cowardly and criminal. Whats is despicable is the spin the MSM will put on this to further their adgenda.
Still, when you do the math, Amy Bishop killed more people than Joseph Stack.....but nobody’s saying that in the MSM.
You answered your own question. The SPLC is already calling this nut a right-winger. We have a duty to point out that the nut used left-wing talking points in his diatribe.
It was actually a mixed bag. Neither side wants to claim him. He railed against big goverment a lot so that part is like us. The gripe about no health care sounds like a lib.
Agreed, if that is how you fell. But it won't be me who will be doing the pointing out.
The media had nothing to do with any of these cases. These were crazy people. One cannot blame anyone but them. Do not give them an easy way out. They are responsible for their actions. Personal responsibility. It is a good thing.
And..I do not want to “chuck my tv out”...ridiculous suggestion. jeeze.
The lame-stream media (Washington Post) and the leftist droolers on the internet IMMEDIATELY started blaming the Tea Party movement for this whack-job. Of course, you won’t see or hear one damn word about the shooter in Alabama-unfortunately for them, there is no way to pin THAT crazy chick on the right considering her boot-licking love for Obama...
the guy was a nut...end of story.*** The SPLC is already calling this nut a right-winger. ***
('scuse me for buttin' in)
Ozzy is right.
I just went to the SPLC website and sure enough they've already labeled, categorized, and classified that nut as a 'Right Wing Extremist', fueled by Tea Party anti government hate. Why? Because that NUT was anti IRS and anti government (he hated Bush).Carry on FReepers :-)But I also read the comments at the end of that SPLC (cough) 'article' and a couple folks commented how odd it was that the SPLC has completely ignored Left Wing Mass Murdering Wacko, professor Amy Bishop. So some 'right wing extremist' (/s) trolls have invaded the SPLC website and caught them with their 'hypocrisy pants' down :-)
Another 'odd' thing about the SPLC website is their 'Hate / Terrorist Group List'. I searched and double checked my search and nowhere to be found is any Communist or Socialist organization or group listed. And you can't much more anti USA Government than died-in-the-wool Communists. Then again, if the SPLC listed Communist Groups, they'd have to list themselves.
So, that's it. Just wanted to confirm that the left has already started the spin. Joseph Stack was a 'right wing, tea party loving, anti government, extremist nut'. The SPLC says so.
I don't know how I can possibly hate the leftist media any more than I already do, but this is so despicable, that I'm hating them even more than ever....
For every nut the media inspires to total Bush-hating madness, they inspire many thousands to vote against good people, and for corrupt democrats.
“I prefer to take the high road”
Conservatives have felt like that for many decades. And now we have a socialist president, with goosestepping teens calling him the Alpha & Omega.
There must be a serious lack of oxygen up on that high road.
Yes! Fox News too. Did you see the hatchet job O’Reilly did on the Tea Party people the other night? Hannity has been talking for the last three days about the Tea Party people becoming a third Party.
Tea Party spokespeople from around the country are saying that they have no intention of becoming a third Party. The only people promoting the possibility of a third Party are members of the media. That means Hannity too.
