U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, New Jersey

I won’t wish anyone ill with cancer, so I wish him well.
As a senator, this man is a particularly dislikable do nothing.
It’s fitting there is a major train station constructed in NJ and named after him, in the middle ofnowhere with NO PARKING LOT so the station is an absolute waste and no one can use it. And no one ever hears about that little public funds debacle.
There should be an age limit for these reprobates.
No, the legislature will quickly change the law so that he cannot, then change it back when necessary.
In all the discussion about Scott Brown, I've never heard anyone suggest that the reason he won was widespread disgust over how the Massachusetts Democrats kept changing the rules.
Seriously, this is all about pathologically retaining power. Not much different than Kim Jung Il in my view. An 86 year old man with cancer clings to power, not for the good of the country. Not out a sense of patriotism, but out of a crass selfish desire to cling to power for himself and for his Party. The same can be said of Byrd. Disgraceful.
When he's 90 years old?
Doesn't he have any great-great-grandkids to go play with?
Lymphoma is much more serious.
Reagan made sure his DRs were GOP. Wonder if the thought ever crosses his mind to ask the political leaning of his DRs!?!?!?
One of the most Anti-American legislators in history.
GOOD RIDDANCE!
Any idea how he is doing since he fell the other day??
Bizarre.
For those interested in the medical side of this, full strength chemo absolutely ca be fatal to an elderly person. If teh cancer spreads or worsens and they have to use strong chemo that could be it for him.
OTOH, my grandfather had a lymphoma many years. They treated him with mild chemo due to his age and he lived to age 89.
So it all depends.
Aside from this illness, he is an awful senator and it seems he is hated by everyone including his fellow senators.
That’s the unfortunate truth. Very few who dedicate their lives to Satan ever change their minds.
I won’t pray for him, he is evil!
There is nothing wrong with him saying that he wants to finish out his term, but to bring in his re-election in 2012 is sickening.
Where is his sense of perspective and decency? Is he that hooked on the power?? Despicable.
Prayers for Frank, and please be so kind as to step down so you can enjoy the rest of your life with the family.
I pray for his soul, that he will choose to stop being evil.
Good question.
Hopefully he is prescribed the socialist “blue pill.”

“”the current procedure gives a governor too much discretion over how to deal with these vacancies. He or she can call a special election, appoint a temporary senator, or leave the seat vacant until the next general election which could be almost a year.””
