Is the Tea Party-connected group, the Oath Keepers, an "extremist right" group as the partisan bomb-throwers on the left have been fond of alleging? That's the proverbial question of the day as Oath Keepers founder, Stewart Rhodes, made an appearance on the self-proclaimed "humble correspondent's," Bill O'Reilly's, No-Spin Zone. His appearance was the direct result of O'Reilly opening up this question of so-called "radicalism" among Tea Party supporters by hosting committed left-winger, Mark Potok (handsome devil, if you call overly gelled, curly hair and overly big eyeglasses "handsome"), of the Southern Poverty Law Center on his show a day before. The whole crux of the matter is basically that leftists like the Southern Poverty Law Center insist on raising the alarm about allegedly "dangerous" groups like the Oath Keepers because they apparently operate on "crazy theories"like, oh my God, respecting the Constitution!! But are they really "extremists?"

If wanting to put Fedzilla back in its cage is far right extremist, then I am a proud member if not out of just the literal, straight forward and plain meaning of the constitution, but also out of the practical desire to not ride big government to financial ruin and slavery.
The way things have been for the last century isn’t sustainable economically nor is it something that I wish to hand to next generation. If Bill doesn’t get it, that’s his problem, not mine. He has no business saying he just looks after the folks because should the status quo not be altered, we are headed for disaster and I’m not sure how he’ll be able to sleep at night knowing he could be part of the solution instead of perpetuating the problem.
From their view on the far left...yes, Oathkeepers likely does appear to be a right wing extremist group. But, even W appeared to them to be a right wing extremist...
There’s no shame in being called an extremist by the left.
...”BOR the bloviator strikes again!! Im really wondering about him. Whos side is Bill on??”...
I have been a steady viewer of BOR, but lately, some of his views have left me scratching my head. Is he really that naive or is he playing to the Saudi Prince who owns a big chunk of the FOX parent company?
So BO takes the word of a Marxist POS like Potok & the SPLC as gospel and questions the motives of the Oath Keepers and the Tea Parties?
Remind me again why anyone listens to this clown?
CW2 Ping
That is precisely the theme of my novels.
BOR is knowitall who knows not much and only does cursory research. Half the time, he hasn’t a clue what he is talking about, yet will tell you he is right even as his entire premise is wrong and his facts are lacking.
.
And its founder, Morris Dees, should be indicted for Subversive Acts and Sedition. And next to the ADL, the SPLC is the biggest anti-Christian Hate Group going.
They flee from a Crucifix like vampires.
And they prolly don't cast shadows and have to hide from Daylight too!
Amen.
As for me and my family: We’re done with Billyboy!
O should “join”. When you see it from the inside, the first thing you notice are the WARNINGS from the moderators NOT to do those kinds of things that Oathkeepers is always accused of doing. And people DO NOT do those things. So this is one more “opinion” from the outside ... not a “fact” from the inside. Its a great group, lots of great information and very level-headed discussion. So for B O’r ... just ignore him, he doesn’t count because he has no idea what he’s talking about.
You just now coming to that conclusion?
Yes, it’s been coming on for some time.
Amen, Travis McGee, thanks for the ping.
BOR's disdain for American citizen's (the folks) who think the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment in particular is the law of the land was on full display last night. After he said it was extreme to believe taking away firearms for a "emergency" was unconstitutional, I had to turn him off.
BOR's a pompous ignorant traitor, I'll not be watching his show anymore.
My money says he probably has armed security people to protect him, Rosie O'Reilley, that's the ticket.
I hate to say it, but you’re about 6-7 years behind the curve.
It’s a weird thing, but Bill became unwatchable when a field reporter for him, Arthel Neville (daughter of one of the Neville Brothers) left the show. Now, she was as moonbat Leftie as they come, this side of Olbie. But she served the useful purpose of playing “court jester” for BOR, and deflating his ever-expanding head from time-to-time. She left, his head got big, and he became unwatchable, at least on a regular basis.
Potok is very dangerous and should never be given a microphone again. He can execise his free speech rights on his own dime.
Could the Oathkeepers sue him for slander for what he said on O’Riely?
As I thought. His attitude in that segment illustrated his lack of understanding regarding what soldiers are taught as well as their moral responsibility regarding illegal orders.
I don't normally watch his show but I had the channel on Fox and was working on the computer so it was on the background when his show came on and I heard part of that bit, although I turned it party way through that segment because he was so ignorant.
