The Tea Partiers should make a concerted effort to ask candidates (D or R) what the Founding Fathers meant by the term “natural born citizen.” I live in a purple district and I’m determined to get into a campaign rally and ask this queston of both of them.
They'll avoid the question rather than answer.
Here, I'll save you the effort:
"...I think that's a question best left to the courts, and to my understanding they have addressed that question and we have a working solution. Thank you; next question..."
I think it would be easy for Hayworth to turn the tables on McCain regarding ‘birther’:
We are the Show me Crowd show me the birth certificate.
[To borrow the Show Me States motto.]
We are called birthers mostly by people who think giving birth is obscene and abortion is cool. We must honor the true birthers who brought us into this world.
Some people tell us to focus on other issues. I would rather they said prioritize. Focus means telescopic site, which is lousy when you have a lot of moving targets.

The problem is that question languishes in obscurity, and in obscure SCOTUS rulings...and that’s unfortunate, as it pertains to the US Constitional requirements for the POTUS.
