I’ve been self employed most of my life, and I can tell folks right quick:The IRS is not your friend.
That ties in with the moonbat's attempts at tax dodging.
Reading between the lines:
1. He tried to lower his taxes by claiming to be a non-profit or religion or something, but that didn't work.
2. He worked for years as a contractor without paying his portion of Social Security, and then got called on it.
3. He "accidentally" filed an incorrect tax form forgetting to claim his wife's income, and then got called on that.
His problem seems to be that he kept trying to avoid paying taxes, but kept failing in his attempts.
The good thing about free market capitalism is that the government can tax the hell out of us, and there is still enough profit floating around for a good percentage of us to live decent lives and save for retirement.
He is just one of those who fell through the cracks ... and went crackers.
Isn't that the logic of Timothy McVeigh?
To die for a cause, even a worthless one, lends some dignity to the act.
But to die for a disconnected series of self-contradictory mush ... that is truly an absurd tragedy.
Doesn’t sound like any Libertarian I’ve known! Even though some of the anti-tax rants sound like those I’ve made myself, there is too much anti-capitalist rhetoric for him to have been a libertarian. Sounds like he really didn’t know WHAT he believed because if he WAS a Communist he wouldn’t be against taxes - how else would the government re-distribute the wealth? What it sounds like is that he was in favor of taxes on the wealthy, corporations, and churches, and NOT in favor of taxing the working class. Libertarians/libertarians are not in favor of taxes for ANY of those ‘classes’... Libertarians are in favor of LESS government — not MORE — Libertarianism is the antithesis of Communism.

Hmm. A leftist/communist/socialist who’s against paying taxes? Back to reality. This guy was a nutcase CREEP willing to kill others because he owed back taxes to “Mr. Big Brother IRS man”. The rest is just a mound of excuses for his suicidal murder spree.

And when they are assimilated by the momentum of machine, then what? Remember, republicans had the white house and both houses of congress in 2001. Instead of a flat tax, elimination of EPA, DoA, DoEdu, DoEnergy, etc, we got more centralized control of education (no child left behind), more entitlements (prescription drugs), tax cuts with sunset clauses. And now we're on the brink of socialized medicine, regulation by climate nazis, national bankrupcy. Jennyjenny, who can we turn to? I admit some encouragement in some seemingly conservative candidate wins in some of the recent off cycle elections, but we have yet to see what they will accomplish and if it will carry over in 2010 and 2012. I just fear that if we rely on only the voting booth for much longer, our means and will to fight the growing power and oppression of Washington will vanish.
