Instead of a flat tax, elimination of EPA, DoA, DoEdu, DoEnergy, etc, we got more centralized control of education (no child left behind), more entitlements (prescription drugs), tax cuts with sunset clauses. And now we're on the brink of socialized medicine, regulation by climate nazis, national bankrupcy. Jennyjenny, who can we turn to? I admit some encouragement in some seemingly conservative candidate wins in some of the recent off cycle elections, but we have yet to see what they will accomplish and if it will carry over in 2010 and 2012. I just fear that if we rely on only the voting booth for much longer, our means and will to fight the growing power and oppression of Washington will vanish.
