Another safe Democratic senator may not be quite as safe as he thought.
The first Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 telephone survey of likely voters in Oregon finds incumbent Democratic Senator Ron Wyden with a 49% to 35% lead over law professor Jim Huffman, the most prominent Republican reportedly considering running against him.

Wyden leds by double digits but he is under 50%. Just think where we would be if McCain had won.

Wyden was one of my kids history teachers in high school. The man is useless.

Wyden desperately needs to be fired.

Electon! I checked the original and that is indeed the spelling. I’ve heard or election or electron, but not electon.

Huffman would be outstanding. A smart guy who understands liberty. Federalist Society type.

Huffman beating Wyden would be like a Republican winning Teddy Kennedy's old seat..... Wait!....
Would be awesome, but I think we are “bluer” than Mass. Don't see it happening. we just voted for a tax increase last month for goodness sake! One can “hope” for “change”.

Keep watching. If it can happen in Massachesetts; it can happen in Oregon here.
High — 20% — I believe unemployment will make people think twice before they vote.
Of course, we have the traditional Portland and Eugene blue areas. We’re working on it — so to say!

As I posted on another thread;”Wyden could be filmed skinning a live puppy in front of a bunch of toddlers and the idiot voters here in W. Oregon would still vote for him(remember it was the voters here that passed a tax increase on the rich and businesses just last month).”

(Now that the libs are in power dissent is not only unpatriotic, but, it is also racist.)
