"What happened in Haiti could happen anywhere in the Caribbean because all these island nations are in peril because of global warming," Glover said. "When we see what we did at the climatesummit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I'm sayin'?"
DANNY GLOVER: Well, he's mystified by that. You know, there's been several calls for him to return. His party still -- the Lavalas is still the largest party, that's not participating, that's not active in the electoral process. And yet, he's dismayed by that, the fact that both -- it seems as if the South African government and the United States are complicit in his not returning to the hemisphere. Now, that's certainly...
GOODMAN: What is he saying the South African government?
GLOVER: Well, he said the South African government -- he didn't say this. But I'm saying, it seems to be a tacit complicity between -- to not have him return in any capacity to the hemisphere. That's been the case all along. So he's essentially waiting by, waiting for some word of the possibility of him returning.
And, of course, I mean, we see GeorgeBush and Bill Clinton, former presidents, who have been the key orchestrators of the undermining of Haitian sovereignty and democracy, standing-standing right there to supposedly play some sort of role.
"How do you tell a communist? It's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. How do you tell an anti-communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin."

Yep, but it seems many who attain fame and fortune in front of a camera will not keep their mouth shut in real life, they are their own worst enemy.
Equally amazing is that an actor who is a nutjob/a$$h0le away from the movie camera can yet project intelligent and likeable characters on screen (if you watch them there dispassionately).
Of course, they are particularly prone to the blandishments of celebrity; so many are in the profession because of the adulation they receive from the public. And this attention from the man in the street is what makes an actor an effective pitchman for this or that company or cause (at least until his private behavior becomes too publicly egregious).
For better or worse.
“Many people swoon over actors and believe they can do no wrong”
Two words: Jet Li.
I’m all gooey about him the way Zero fans are over Zero. He loves me and will be mine, he just doesn’t know it yet. :)
