Ex con Muslim Chaplin caught smuggling box-cutters into jail: Why trying KSM in NYC is dangerous
The Collins Report ^ | February 17, 2010 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

Yesterday’s news that Barack Obama still intends to bring the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) and other vicious Islamists to New York makes this little story an important story.

Last week New York’s Corrections Department reported apprehending and arresting an officially credentialed Muslim Chaplin, who uses the name Zulqarnain Abdu-Shahid, as he was attempting to smuggle a pair of scissors and three box cutter blades into its main facility in lower Manhattan.

Had it not been for the sharp eyed professionalism of the Corrections Officers at the Manhattan Detention Complex, these dangerous weapons would have found their way into the hands of some of the worst of his “flock” threatening our liberties and freedoms.

A problem bigger than just one low life Imam

The bigger problem this incident underscores is that this “cleric” Abdu-Shahid is an ex con who has a record of having spent fourteen years of a fifteen to life sentence in prison. He was convicted for second degree murder and first degree robbery in 1979.

Why he was released after just fourteen years and why he was eventually hired at almost $50,000 a year as a prison Chaplin are unanswered questions.

Proving she can miss a point as well as any bureaucrat, City Department of Investigations Commissioner Rose Gil Hearn commented, “This arrest demonstrates the serious consequences of bringing in contraband to the city’s correctional facilities.”

No Ms. Gil Hearn this arrest demonstrates the serious consequences of the loony politically correct policy of hiring a guy who did fourteen years in prison as a Chaplin with private visitation rights to vicious criminals bent on destroying our country.

Umar Abdul-Jalil, Abdu-Shahid’s boss did 14 years in prison as a convicted drug dealer. Does anyone believe HE will stop such smuggling if KSM comes to town?

In the past few years at least one of these mutts used a sharpened toothbrush handle to poke out the eye of a Corrections Officer. When these trials come to America things like that WILL happen again but why?

If I were a CO there, and witnessed this, I would have killed the guy.

Goes to show the myth of rehabilitating muslims.

Those who believe that muslims can be rehabilitated WANT to believe that and are deluded to a mind-boggling degree.

The only situation that I’d trust is if a muslim became a Christian and got baptized.

And if I were on your jury, I wouldn’t have convicted you.

The only thing these rabid animals understand is strength.

Remember when Reagan gave Quaddafi a taste of his own medicine?

We didn’t hear so much as a peep out of him for over 10 years.

You’re exactly right.

You know, when GW went back to finish off Hussein, people were critical of that. They said that it made us look weak etc. because it would give hte impression that he was finishing the job his father couldn’t.

But my sister pointed out that that was just our perception. In muslim culture, it’s not only understood and acceptable to hold family grudges but expected to act on them for family honor.

So she said that that was something muslims would understand and respect because to THEM it made sense that GW would finish what his father didn’t.

This is endemic to their culture.
