The council of EU finance ministers said Athens must comply with austerity demands by March 16 or lose control over its own tax and spend policies altogether. It if fails to do so, the EU will itself impose cuts under the draconian Article 126.9 of the Lisbon Treaty in what would amount to economic suzerainty.

If it’s true about Greece (it is not), then you can say that about the US too (which is true).
Greece is the most anti-American country in Europe, for no particular reason I can discover.

I always thought that the after the reunification, Germany was going to accomplish economically what it failed to do militarily. The Germans will rule Europe. Their problem is that they first destroyed it and killed off all it’s real men at Verdun, the Somme and Stalingrad. What’s left isn’t really worth ruling.

Dutchmen yes, but the Spaniards are net recipients of EU funds. The people actually paying for most of the EU deadbeats are the Germans.

Maybe so. But Greece under the Papandreou Dynasty has been an economic basket case, not to mention one of the most anti-USA nations on the planet. The Hellenes are simply reaping what they’ve sown.

As a casual observer, it seems Europe is run like a family with the Germans playing the whipped husband continuously writing the checks for the wife, France, and the wife passing along some of the money to the kids, PIGS.
And was a young Kapo (Judas Goat for Jews during the Holocaust) during the war, if the rumors are to be believed.
So why does he have a Greek name?
Anyway, I got curious (like maybe his father was Greek even though he was born in Hungary) and noticed this:

Given that his pursuits seem to be at odds with the interest of Israel, perhaps he's one of those Jew-hating Jews.

Greece has been a faithful ally of the West and has sacrificed much blood and treasure to resist Fascism and Communism in three world wars: I, II, and Korea and the Cold one.
Let’s not even talk about its 1300 year resistance to Mohamedans.
So please if you don’t know what you’re talking about stifle it.
