The reason is he was the prosecutor who refused to charge the Alabama killer professor for killing her brother with a shotgun in 1999. It is now becoming apparent she was also being investigated for a mail bomb attempt on another professor. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2451555/posts

Has it occurred to anyone that these crooks have set aside millions in the impossible to follow "Stimulus", TARP, Fed. Budget and now "Stimulus 2 - aka, Jobs Bill" for their own ill gotten retirements?
They should be retired to hard time at the nearest Federal Pen or send them down to Sheriff Arpaio.

It might be wise to temper our excitement over these kinds of revelations about Congressional Democrats announcing their retirements. They are now free to vote anyway they want without fear of Voter retribution and I wouldn't be surprised if they are being seduced by Obie and or Soros et’al with cushy jobs after they're gone from Congress.
