Really? And what do the Haredim in this country do that would be a problem for you?
There was the recent incident in NYC where they had the bicylce lanes removed since the riders were immodestly clad by their standards.
What the Haredim in Jerusalem do is beyond the pale. They scream shabbos and throw stones on cars on shabbat, they riot etc. etc. and this happens wherever they are.
Moreover in Israel they are parasites: they don’t work, don’t serve in the army and live from welfare.

Avoiding national conscription and living off the dole come to mind.
And, yes, I am orthodox. I don’t chose, however, to dress like a 1600 Polish nobleman and live off of the welfare of my fellow Jewish citizens.
Can’t find that requirement in the Torah, Mishna, whatever.
