The article starts with the following: "Joseph Romm, a climate change expert and former Energy Department official; Jeff Masters, a meteorologist who writes on the Weather Underground blog; and others argue that this winter's snowstorms are, counterintuitively, evidence of global warming and not cooling.
"It's absurd for the 'anti-science side' to say we're in a cooling trend when we're in an overall warming trend," says Romm of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank. "Heavy snow is not evidence that climate science is false," he added, noting that "the snow we've seen is entirely consistent with global warming theory."
How does this article end? It ends with this: "The science isn't settled," he says. "Yes, the climate has warmed -- that's not a hoax. But can't we go back and reconsider the science? Let's just step back and reconsider."

I don’t think so.
Let’s look at the basics.
We are not in a mini-ice age. Thus, there has been some global warming.
We are not as hot as a reptile in the tropics, thus, we haven’t had that much global warming.
I think that since copenhagen and the demise of man-made global warming we have come to a new horizon. What causes global warming and global cooling?
Some would say earth is doing it.
I say sunspots are the cause.

What follows is my letter to an editor a few hours ago.
They did answer my letter.
Three hundred years ago the earth began to warm due mostly to consistent sunspot activity. The glacier that filled Glacier Bay receded to the head waters 100 years ago.
The glaciers are suppose to melt. On the other hand, we are in a sunspot minimum which lasts about three decades.
There should be some renewed growth in the glaciers in the coming years. We need to remember how glaciers form.
Glacier growth is a slow process and there may be enough growth to sustain it for another century.
Don’t expect much until the next mini-ice age or Ice Age in terms of major growth.
Climate Change Laws just raise taxes. They don’t make ice.

??? That last part contradicts the rest of this tripe. More precipitation will lead to more snow & ice, so how could the polar ice caps ever shrink? "Global warming" can coexist with sub-freezing temperatures only on bumper-sticker slogans.
Excellent! When a typo reveals an overpowering truth - it’s a message from Heaven.
