1 local reporter said the shooter was a professor who was denied tenure. Shot several co-workers.

It's odd, there is no such thing as tenure in the private sector...

What do you mean private sector? UAH is part of the University of Alabama.

Tenure in the private sector is reserved for union workers, who practically have to kill someone on the job before they are let go.

There is tenure at private universities. It's the nature of the job, regardless of who's paying the bills.
