Latino organizations and the U.S. Census Bureau plan in the coming weeks to step up their campaign to persuade Latino immigrants — especially the undocumented — to participate in the population count.
Latino leaders and census officials say the effort is unprecedented, and made all the more urgent by a campaign spearheaded by a Bergen County pastor calling on illegal immigrants to boycott the census because of the failure of Congress to reform immigration laws.
With Latinos fueling most of the population growth in New Jersey and nationwide since the 2000 census, Latino organizations in New Jersey and New York plan presentations in Bergen and Passaic counties to urge them to fill out the census forms when they arrive in the mail in March.
Census officials and political and community leaders say the stakes of an accurate count are high for all New Jerseyans because population growth here lagged behind that of many other states. The state could lose a representative in Congress and get less federal aid in the coming decade because population drives the funding of many federal programs.

The bottom line is that they are going to get the services, so it is to the best interest of the community to count them or else the community will go broke..period.
ACORN is not involved in the census.
If you can count them , you can arrest them . The rats want the numbers and the repugnicans want the cheap labor .

EVERY illegal alien should be sent home so that the MILLIONS of unemployed AMERICAN CITIZENS could locate employment.
Hoover did it.

Eisenhower did it [and he even sent documented Mexicans back home].
The Illegals could be given a plastic card giving them permission to APPLY to come back into the USofA as soon as our unemployment rate falls below 3%.
As a human right they have the right to be treated humanely as they are deported.
They are not "illegal citizens" as some idiots have described them, nor has anyone victimized them by not treating them as citizens.
We Americans should not be compelled to be ruled by people who "represent them", for this is tyranny and contrary to the entire concept of our nation. We cannot be forced to be governed by those who we do not consent to be governed by.
This plan is destabilizing to the very existence of the United States.
They have no right to vote, but the Constitution very explicitly requires that they be counted for purposes of apportioning the House of Representatives:
Fourteenth Amendment, Section 2: " Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State..."
This plan is destabilizing to the very existence of the United States.

That is true..it will just take a bit longer.
Section 2 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution provides, “Representatives shall be apportioned among the several states according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each state, excluding Indians not taxed.” Section 1 of the same Amendment provides, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.” The order of these two Sections implies that the persons upon whom apportionment is to be made are persons born or naturalized in the United States.
No one in 1868 envisioned a mass invasion of foreign nationals, as can be found by simply reading Howard's many Senate comments. The intent was to give Black people rights under the Constitution that could not be nullified by State laws. First, they were to be made citizens, and second, they were to be guaranteed citizen's rights, nullifying Dred Scott. Of course, one of those rights is the right to equal representation - not 3/5ths. Thus the language of the 14th.
It certainly was in 1861, when the 3/5ths rule was one of things that led the North to war - why should the Slave Power have more representation than they deserved by counting people they had enslaved?
It's no accident that the 14th was written to get rid of that. But misinterpretation by scoundrels intent on aggregating illegitimate power to themselves is still a risk with the amended Constitution if we let them take advantage of it.
