Per Fox, Obama just said that "All ideas are on the table" regarding taxing the middle class/people making less than $200K a year. Developing...
For this one, we really need President Reagan: “There you go again.”
“read my lips”.
Since the meme in 1992 was Clinton won because Bush renegged on “no new taxes” the media and voters have no option BUT to slam Obama hard on this.
Bye now. End of career light is blinking. Obama may just beat Buchanan as the worst President in history.
Yes, it’s good They have us to keep the watch on, eh?
"What's so hard to understand?! If you make less than $250,000 a year, YOU'RE GETTING A TAX CUT! PERIOD! END OF STORY!"
He might want to run it past Congress first, just to make sure they don't have any objections.
That’s it. One of my favorite spots currently running.

WHAT? OBAMA LIED?
The Constitution of The United States, Article I, Section 5, Membership, Rules, Journals, Adjournment:
Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two-thirds, expel a Member.
Fail, Nance.
So, if you decide, after all, NOT to renegotiate, does that precipitate a process called unneg, or the does the person doing that then become an unegger?
Probably. That, and the upcoming amnesty for illegal aliens which will likely immediately add 12-20 million more Dimocrats to the voting rolls for 2010. With numbers like that, he can't lose no matter what he does.
Don't think for a moment they can't pass it with their huge majorities in both houses - all of whom will be direct beneficiaries! McCain, Graham and probably a few other "Republicans" are already in their pockets for this.
We are screwed and just don't know it yet.
"You're not from around here, are you?"
;-)

From a symbolic, populist standpoint, pork and fat-cat spending ought to be the first to go, if only because the cuts have to start someplace. The reality, however, is that cutting pork and handouts for the fat cats would have an insignifcant impact upon the deficit and the national debt. The only way to get our financial house in order is to slash and burn the so-called entitlements, and I don't just mean cutting the rate of increased spending, but actually cutting programs and year-over-year expenditures. Yes, this will be painful and likely to increase unemployment and the deficit in the short-term, but it is really the only way to restore the American dream before it collapses under the national debt.
Agree to an ironclad balanced budget amendment while dedicating 10% to retiring debt, take the bullet for cutting social security and medicare, reduce federal spending by a half, make EVERYONE pay at least SOME income taxes and I will gladly pay more. If it will reduce the size of government by 2/3, I and mine will eat beans for the next ten years to do our part. Stealing from the future citizens is immoral and I want no part of it.
As Rush pointed, Obama voted “PRESENT” again.
How can he reneg if he did not first neg? At least noone beleives he first negged...
Surprise, surprise, surprise. What next? Will he give Iran another stern warming (sic)?
