Who listened to Debra Medina on Beck and came away disgusted. She basically admitted that she is a 911 Truther.
Her run has ended
Just to clarify....
I was going to vote for Medina in the primary, over Goodhair or KBH. Now, I will skip that slot on our ballot.
That being said, I suspect that we will be stuck with Goodhair again in November.
I will vote for him over Billy “Howdy Doody” White.
I will also be holding my nose when I make that vote.
Again.
She said “Some interesting questions have been raised” and that she wouldn’t have “thought police” checking on staff and their opinions re: truthers in extended response to Glenn’s clarifying “Do you believe our government was responsible for the 9/11 attack?”
Which was enough for me
I feel so deflated... I was really getting excited about the prospects of someone who is not a career politician, that we would step by step take our country back. Now I think I have to lean towards Perry. Very, very dissapointed.
Absolutely. If we learned anything in NY 23, it’s that these in house battles need to be settled in the primaries.
She made a huge mistake going on Becks show, becuase he asks tough questions like that and wont let you get away with not answering
"Tough" questions???
Heck, sounds more like a totally off-the-wall irrelevant whacknut question to me.
Heck, I can understand where being a "twoofer" or a "birther" might have some significance in a race for national office,
but in a primary race for state office, I can only view it as sensationalist, hatchet job jounalism in the same style as Connie Chung, Katie Couric, Chrissie Matthews and Keith Olberman.
Glen Beck should be ashamed of himself.
Well she lost me with this. This is beyond stupid so I guess I am stuck with Perry. Talk about no choices.
Agreed, and he prefaced the question by noting he had received many negative emails about her (along with a lot of positive ones) and the main objection was the possibility she was a Truther. She played innocent for a while, then cavilled that there were good questions to ask on the subject (such as...?) and then couldn't be sure there weren't any Truthers on her staff (already addressed in this thread). So, he did no more than probe a speculation and give her carte blanche to torpedo the rumors. She refused. Confusion reigns in her campaign from that moment on.
Bingo.
>> You are obsessed with after-birth mess.
Not sure what you meant by “after-birth mess” ... but I’ve gotta tell ya, I got a post-childbirth image that you probably did not intend. Haha.

She said she did not have enough info. She did not admit to being a truther.
Beck set out to destroy Debra from the beginning. He did not ask any question that was pertinent to the election. He’s just trying to clear the way so that Perry wins the election without a runoff. And many of you are falling for it. That’s the real disappointment.

Hoo-boy... cheering her huh? :-) That kinda makes it really clear, doesn’t it...
Nonsense. Glenn Beck received a lot of emails claiming she was a truther. If she wasn’t, all she had to say was no. She didn’t do that. Instead, we got some babbling non-answer that was as close to a yes as simply saying so. You could tell by listening to the interview that he expected a quick ‘no’ and was prepared to move on. When Glenn got the non-answer, he pressed with the second question and the answer was even worse. At that point, he ended the interview, since there was no point in giving her any more airtime after that.
She self-destructed in that interview. Her candidacy died by her own hand.
That's a very good point PKmom! Watch who these new candidates go after and who they criticize. There's a lot of Freepers who pop up every now and then who never seem to have a bad thing to say about democrats but will tear apart the GOP at the drop of a hat. You really have to wonder who's side they are on.

"..9/11 Truth movement is the collective name of loosely affiliated organizations and individuals who question the mainstream account of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Adherents of the movement discuss different hypotheses about how the attacks happened and call for a new investigation into the attacks.
Listen and make up you own mind......... about 4 minutes......
Look at how many *Republicans* showed up just in time to ride Reagan's coattails in 1980 -- Arlen Specter, one example. I've lost count of the number of Republicans in Congress who would/should be Democrats, but there is too much competition on that side of the election, the only way they can win the seat is by claiming GOP ... and then see what they do, how they vote, the legislation they sponsor, etc.
Excellent observation, PKM, I hope many are keeping their eyes and ears open.
