To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

My tagline is a direct quote from Governor Palin. Is that something that someone who is for amnesty would say? I think not!!No, going from this interview to that is called Kerry-style flip-flopping. No one else in any other industry would get away with double speaking like you allow politicians.

That article doesn't even get to the issue of amnesty at all.
If you want to bash Palin, use some facts.

Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.
Its pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

December 2009
Lars Larson radio talk show
LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty.
And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

With all due respect, our southern border has been wide open since 9/11, and well, for years before that. I had serious problems with Bush over that deficiency.
The point of the "dance" was to say, that she is honoring a debt. Doing it early, and in the primary. THE PEOPLE OF ARIZONA will decide who runs for the Senate seat.
If AZ decides that McCain's time has passed, then I'm sure Sarah will offer him her condolences, thank him for bringing her to the dance, and then move on.

Simply read the interview.I did.
It's her words and she's never battled this interview's integrity.
Why would she have to battle the interview's integrity? She did not indicate in this interview that she is for amnesty as you claim. I suggest you simply stop lying about what she said.
Sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow.
Well, at least we know why you are lying about the contents of this interview.
To: Norman Greenbaum
We don't know exactly what she "ignores" or what solution she'd propose. Yet. Palin is on record as supporting immigration laws (i.e. "back of the line."
Back of the line requires them to leave the country and wait behind those who have been seeking legal immigration for years. That requires strictly enforcing existing immigration laws to remove those who do not leave voluntarily and fill out the proper paper work with the current system.

I'd add to your very logical list:
For those on the government teet, aka, welfare, make them work the jobs that illegals are used for. Yes, that means if you accept a check from the gov't, you may have to go pick cotton, or fruit, or veggies, etc. If you don't like it, you don't get a check.
Fill the jobs 'Americans won't do' with Americans who must earn their welfare check. Solves two issues: slacker welfare recipients and no more jobs for illegals.

I’m sure we will hear more from her on this subject
in the coming months.
First thing we MUST do is secure our borders, we can
deal with the problem of immigration AFTER that.

You’re projecting again. It’s beyond your comprehension to think that someone can advocate on public policy issues because they care about their ramifications for the future of our country and our posterity.

Where in that statement did Governor Palin say she opposed Deportation?
There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration
Where in her answer do you see her supporting enforcing deportation per existing immigration laws for those who are illegally in this country? She is using the same parsing of words concept amnesty supporters use to avoid outright declaring they should not be deported.
