I have been telling friends for a couple of weeks now that if Medina can raise $2 million by February 16 (the start of early voting), she will be governor. What this poll tells me is that Texans are sick and tired of Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison and their career politician credentials and their negative campaigns. Medina is Sarah Palin with gravitas and without the winks.

May be nothing more than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Regardless of what the case really is, she’s probably done.
To you non-Texans who may not realize, the resident illegal population is getting more and more militant. I almost got into a fight with one that cut in line at the Lube shop a couple of weeks ago.
Poe is my representaive. He has done a fine job for us in SE Texas. He has no problem calling down liberal callers to his phone town hall meetings. He’ll tell them, if your for big government, I am not your guy.
Yea, well I wish he were mine. Unfortunately I’m perhaps less than a mile outside his district. Poe would have made a great candidate for governor - I don’t think he realized that the electorate would be so ready to chuck Perry and KBH.
Crap, I just read about the 9-11 relevation. I have never seen such a poor choice of candidates. Guess I will stay home.
She lost me with that little episode.
Perry is not perfect, but we have a balanced budget and he isn’t taking any crap from Washington.
KBH is a Democrat 20 percent of the time, which is too much. I have written her 2 times over the years about issues and she wrote back both times to tell me “sorry , there is nothing I can do about that”
I would never vote for her.
