TEHRAN, Iran – Iran began enriching uranium to a higher level on Tuesday over the vociferous objections of the U.S. and its allies who fear the process could eventually be used to give the Islamic republic nuclear weapons.
Even before the announcement U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said he believed the U.N. should slap new sanctions on Iran in "weeks, not months," according to his spokesman Tuesday.
France and the U.S. said Monday Iran's action left no choice but to push harder for a fourth set of U.N. Security Council sanctions to punish Iran's nuclear defiance. Russia, which has close ties to Iran and has opposed new sanctions, appeared to edge closer to Washington's position, saying the new enrichment plans show the suspicions about Iran's intentions are well-founded.

As of right now, Obama is putting Iran on DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION!
China and Russia won’t sign on to sanctions and would be glad to pick up any slack left by US for doing so unilaterally. Iran has been playing 0 like a fiddle for a year. Looks like they figure they’ve played out their string and will go back to openly being stindent, belligerent, kill the great Satan, push Israel into the sea, Iran and openly play to that side now. Only this time with nukes. And that was their plan all along.

It’s really sad that our government pays more attention to pro-lifers in Wisconsin than the obvious threat of a nuclear-armed Iran.
But I believe this: there is no way in Hades that the Israeli government under Bibi will allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons!
I remember when Bibi said to Obama something along the lines of: “Either you stop Iran, or I will!”
This is something that Israel cannot and will not tolerate!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they conduct a nuclear detonation test. And all the CIA hacks that cut Bush off at the knees a couple of years ago claiming Iran stopped pursuing nuclear weapons back in 2002 should be fired or worse.
Attack all non muslime foreign embassies and hold their people hostage for 444 days.................

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher whose hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his role as our president. The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obama is a “Post Turtle.” Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him, what a “post turtle” is.
The old rancher said, ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a “post turtle.”
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain. “You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb a** put him up there to begin with.”
