This is Not about Murtha and his passing .. (Well maybe in a way it is)!
This is just a rant and observation of mine.
As a former Combat Ranger, having seen two tours in Nam .. I feel that I have a right to say this.
Something I am seeing almost everywhere that I go and Most Especially on Lefty, Liberal sites is this: "You shouldn't be "bad mouthing a decorated veteran".
The crap that is thrown around by the lefties .. REALLY, REALLY is something to behold!
It's the Lefty, Liberals who are always holding their Anti-war rally's and bad mouthing all who serve or have served in the military!
It was the Left and the Liberals who "SPAT" upon me and millions like me when we came home from Nam!
DON'T feed me this CRAP about honoring a dead and decorated hero .. NOW .. The left and their Ilk calling for Honor Now are probably the SAME ones who did the Spitting while the guy was coming home .. ALIVE!
Hell .. In the end, He wound up being .. One of Theirs so I guess That is why they want to honor the guy Now!

Murtha and his disgusting attacks on the military were being discussed today on Milwaukee’s #1 afternoon talk radio show. Even though the usual host Mark Belling (subs for Rush) was not there today, his fill in host Nick Reed did a very admirable job of calling out the liberal pundits who had the nerve to say, upon the passing of Murtha, that Murtha was a great friend to the military!!!
Nick Reed rightly set the record straight. Murtha was a disgrace. God has already sorted him out and I venture to guess that Murtha was judged to be chaff rather than wheat.
God Bless our military. We owe our very freedom to them.

Hey, he’s met his maker, you can’t accomplish anything by bad mouthing him now except to make yourself feel better. Sometimes it’s just best to say nothing. Kicking a dead guy just makes you look bad, no matter how much you think they deserved it or whichever side of line you’re standing on.
I think Big Bad John is asleep, awaiting Judgement Day. I sure wouldn’t want to be in his shoes on that day!
Yes, I was spat on too, coming through the airport in 1972. My recollection was that a lot of A*holes* got their a**ses fragged in Vietnam. I know nothing of Murtha’s record, but I suspect he was lucky to get out of Nam alive. G-d will deal with him now—his battles are over.

There are probably a lot of military that will feel better telling their feelings about Murtha. You all want to shut up the Viet vets and other military, screw anyone that feels that way.....they earned their rage, what did you do during the war daddy? mumble a few prayers while our men were dying and feeling self righteous....I had 2 son’s in the military and now a grandson. I’d tell you all what I think of your attitude, but it would get me banned. 2 words, one begins with an s and the second begins with a y
