A Christian teacher told today how he lost his job after complaining that Muslim pupils as young as eight hailed the September 11 hijackers as 'heroes'.
Nicholas Kafouris said he was forced from his £30,000-a-year post because he would not tolerate the 'racist' and 'anti-Semitic' behaviour of children.
He said the predominantly Muslim youngsters openly praised Islamic extremists in class, and hailed the terrorists of the 2001 atrocities as 'martyrs'.
Mr Kafouris, 40, told how one pupil said to him, ‘Don’t touch me, you’re a Christian’, when the teacher accidentally brushed against him with his arm.

In Ottawa, Barhaven to be exact , a Muslim PetroCanada gas station operator said a little too much , a little too often . It wasn't long , a month or two, before he was gone and the station closed due to poor sales.
What had he been saying that people stopped purchasing from him? Was he investigated?
I think just about every gas station in our neck of the woods is owned by a muslim immigrant. They could do a whole lot of damage by simultaneously closing shop. I am very suspicious of them.

Well, the English are very polite.
He was vocal about how 9/11 was a good thing, Americans deserved what happened etc. This was on Sept. 11th.
Cousin bought some gas at noontime and witnessed his joval behaviour first hand and actually warned this clown to shut his mouth . The clown , there were two of them , then made a joke about it . Cousin has some ties to the RCMP , drove home and made a phone call.
Turns out several phone calls were made the same day. During the following weeks word got around and the gas station down the street had line ups while there were no cars at the PC pumps
Eventually PetroCanada closed the station.

You should get a grip and try following a conversation . My question was not about the article . Judy is a fellow Canadian . I was inquiring about an incident she related that happened in Canada . She replied and I replied in turn .
I don’t know about your area, but I suspect they felt free to mouth off like that because so many Canadians wouldn’t defend America, and, sadly, would even agree.
I was stunned at the number of people I spoke with (actually got into rather heated discussions with) after 911, defending our neighbours. People are such sheep.

Sorry. I don't agree with that assessment. I think Canadians can be as fair minded as any . History has shown they can stand up for what is right when needed .
The boycott of that gas station was conducted by hundreds of strangers , there was no organization . Individuals made a decision on their own to buy elsewhere , even if it mean waiting in line . Barrhaven is the bedroom for the Ottawa civil service, Ottawa in 2001 was home to a liberal government. They if anyone , should fit your description. And by their actions , they don't.
Now Lizze May's greenies and Taliban Jack's ndpers are a different bunch. They're not ignorant , just stupid.

I would agree that immediately following 911, the sentiment was indeed on the side of America. I guess I am thinking of recent years....since the onset of the wars and America stood up and defended herself. That’s when I noticed that most people I encountered in business, as well as some acquaintances, had strong anti-American feelings. They were part of parcel of the Bush Derangement Syndrome which was so strong up here....the Hamilton area.
