Any weekend where you put 500 rounds downrange is a great weekend!
He could at least have flipped them off after he went through... :)
Bravo, Audi. Thanks samsmom.
Yes, until the end, when the concluding message was, "Buy an eco-nazi-approved Green Audi, and the green police will let you pass without being arrested....for now."
The concluding message was pro-tyranny.
Bravo Audi, for telling us to knuckle under to green tyranny, buy their green car, and escape arrest by the green police?
It’s great exercise...I lost a lot of weight from my wallet area ;-)
Yeah! That's why the government is pushing diesels! Uh......wait. They're pushing electric cars. And the head of Audi said the Chevy Volt is for idiots. Hmmmm.
Yeah those greenies love diesels!
>> I hated the ad because it seemed they were accepting of the green police idea
Yes, there was tacit acceptance of Green fascism.
images speak words are silent in commercials
in a few years nobody will remember whose car was the subject of the commerical or even that it was a car commercial in the end.
It’s subliminal!
Huh? You’ll buy a car to support a company that supports the socialist green movement?
Audi thought they were being clever but they made themselves look like lunatics.
Funny thing is...I haven’t yet seen one mention of the guy that RUSH talked about at the beginning of his show today. This eco-weenie nincompoop said the the “Green Police” idea was “brilliant” and “this is EXACTLY what we should be doing”.
There really ARE people out there who believe in arresting people for “crimes against the environment”.
Not me. And anyone who tries to arrest ME for that is going to be quite surprised....
Coming from the left? You bet. ;-)
This ad is like a Rorschach test. Did Audi make a deliberately ambiguous commercial? Still the payoff is the Audi driver getting special treatment for driving a car that gets the green stamp of approval.
So the green police were FOOLED by the diesel Audi. It gets the mileage of an electric car but is more powerful and efficient and the green police unwittingly like it?! Boy, this commercial isn’t just ambiguous, it can read three ways!
“Does this really make you want to buy an Audi or stop the green police?”
No, but it did make me want to buy more ammo...
Diesels were sold decades ago. (e.g.1980s) However, CARB’s new rules will put many small businesses which run diesel equipment out of business. I doubt that Audi will pass the new rules. (Typical green B.S. stating that diesel particulates will kill hundreds or even thousands.)
I think this ad was mocking the envirowackies. I enjoyed the over the top parody. Especially knowing that the head of Audi has been busting on Obama. Diesel isn’t a new technology but the fools are looking for something comparable to what already exists. lol
A few years ago, we tried to buy a Jetta diesel in Jersey. We couldn't register it in NY state. It had to be used. The dealer told us to get a friend to buy it, drive it 50 miles then buy it from them. We didn't.
