Christian churches fed 'Islam lite'

An expert on the advance of radical Islam in the United States says the Muslim Brotherhood is effectively employing a strategy of presenting "Islam lite" to organizations, including Christian churches.

Dorothy Cutter, coordinator for the Hartford, Conn., chapter of Aglow Islamic Awareness, part of a national chain of Christian fellowships that study how Islamic law motivates Muslims to participate in jihad, said she heard of a United Church of Christ congregation where an Islamic speaker was a guest.

She contacted the church to see if she would be allowed to present some of the harsher truths about Islam.

"The pastor pushed the material back at me and said, 'It's people like you who are responsible for an escalation of the violence,'" Cutter said.

Cutter said organizations such as Hartford Seminary are sending imams "to condition members of the area churches to believe the light version of Islam."

Steve Emerson, director of the Investigative Project for Terrorism, concurred.

"Hartford Seminary is a place that has been compromised by the Muslim Brotherhood, and then there's the Center for Christian and Muslim Understanding at Georgetown University. The center is a de facto arm of the Muslim Brotherhood," Emerson said.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the Sunni transnational movement founded in Egypt in 1928 that has spawned most of the major terrorist movements in the world, including al-Qaida and Hamas. It's aim is to make Islamic law supreme over the world.

There's no such thing as a moderate muslim. Islam is a violent political ideology with its own set of laws and court system. Religion is only one component used to impose islam on non muslim societies. Islam is anathema to the U.S. Constitution. The two cannot co-exist in the U.S.

Praising Islam’s civilizing contributions, without noting its unalloyed decent into violence and military conquest could not be more disgraceful. About 1100 AD Hassan bin Sabah enlightened Islamist societies to terrorism as foundational statecraft for political prosperity. Philosophical and religious lawyers retained their lives supporting dictators by backwards engineering Koran passages into useful totalitarian heterodoxies. Concurrently, espousing foundational expositions, including Jews, Christians and Muslims as ‘People of the Book”, became perilous undertakings. Concurrently, Saladin’s Sufism stressing individual relationship with God, and exalting individualism within society became marginalized. Concurrently, extraordinary Arab achievements in mathematics, philosophy, science, and medicine submerged within authoritarian and feral societies.

Omar Khayyam, Ibn al-Haytham, and Abu Ali al-Hussain Ibn Sina had no successors for uncompromising, independent thought. Arabs whether conquerors, or ruled by Mongols or Ottomans suffered under the same brutal amalgamation of perverted religion and base human addictions to power. If in Islam there were ever equivalents to Martin Luther to say this was all an abomination, they were murdered as an effective warning to all who came after.

Such is the fate of all philosophies and faiths under manipulation within the fallen human condition. Christians confronted intermittent persecution within the Roman Empire until Constantine discovered, out on necessity, they had developed viable temporal institutions amidst a crumbling imperial bureaucracy. Now faith was obscured behind a Catholic Church, which constructed Potemkin villages of political power to brutally contend for political domination into the Enlightenment.

True Christians will always be sojourners in this world because of relationship with Christ. The denominations grew up around rediscovery of revelations of faith. Any of them have, can and will be turned into religions in a similar manner as noted above to provide utility for creative totalitarianism.

Beware of finding popularity and utility within a world where people have an addiction to power equivalent to compulsions towards alcohol and pornography. That is the message of Islam to the Christian churches.

Happened at a Uniting Church I was part once part of. The organisers didn’t even ask the Pastor - they put a Koran in our Loan bookshop too. That soon go it’s marching orders.

I talked to one of the organisers about it and she told me that the Islamic woman was lovely and that she explained how they were all misunderstood. My reply was - well what did you expect her to say “We are all a lot of murdering blood-thristy B#stards” some people are so naive.
