The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove which gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17

Many people are getting smaller refunds back this year even as Obama and Co. are wasting hundreds of billions of dollars while the economy is tanking.

Of course those with more than two kids are getting bigger refunds and the majority of those are welfare families.

Having done so, they must fill that void with something. They turn to politics and government, thinking it will be their salvation. He got some good vibes from his SotU speech, as well as from going into the lion’s den at the GOP meeting and answering questions.

The perception from his GOP comments and Q&A was that he tanned the GOP’s hide. True or not, that was the perception, and he got traction from it.
