Unless Berg speaks Luo and Swahili, he (and you) have no idea what question she was asked, and no idea what her answer was. All you know is that a tape recording that was set up specifically to try and elicit an admission that Obama was born in Kenya failed to do so. Nowhere on that tape can Sarah Obama ever once be heard to say that Obama was born in Kenya.

Too bad your interpretation matters a lot less than what actually is recorded on the tape. The Ababaptist "Bishop" tries to claim that Obama was born in Mombasa, and Obama's family corrects him and tells him he was wrong, Obama was born in Hawaii. That is what the tape records.

But it does not record Sarah Obama ever saying that her step-grandson was born in Kenya.

What makes you think they're "coaching grandma?" In fact they are directly correcting the Anabaptist "Bishop." That's how you correct somebody when they are wrong. You tell them

Berg claims his Swahili speaking translator has confirmed that grandma actually did clearly say BHO II was born in Mombasa before the family jumped in and started trying to talk over her to contradict her. Just why would the family jump into the interview if grandma was doing just fine? Because she said something they didn't want her to say, is my interpretation.

This is an issue that the liberals are taking to the bank for next November. They've already split the Tea-Party Movement with it. They've already peeled off solid conservative media like Coulter, Beck, Medved and Breitbart. They've already used it to target a bunch of conservative candidates running for this year's Congressional elections.

If you think this is a conservative issue, then you must think Mark Sanford is a great example of conservative family values.

Berg also admitted to Jeff Schrieber that he had no idea what she said because he doesn't speak Swahili either.

The bottom line is that the only people who claim on that tape that Obama was born in Kenya do not include Sarah Obama. The translator can say anything he want, but unless the tape has Sarah saying it, and it doesn't, then it is a lie to claim it does.

Don’t you find it odd that a 40-year old would be writing his autobiography at that age—before he has done anything or lived half the average life expectancy age?

I have often thot he wrote the book so he could tell the story way he wanted regarding his birth and education. The press is so lazy, they simply bought his “life story talking points.”

I am a truth seeker and I want him to open his records. We are entitled to know about significant and relevant things in the lives of our highest elected officials. I appreciate you clearing up the recordings issue. Truth is the most important goal here. Truth takes no sides. It is what it is and let the chips fall. This is why someday sooner or later Obama will be accountible to the public.

It strikes me after reading these threads for a few months that the same false allegations and "facts" keep popping up from new posters until someone comes along to debunk them. We need an official recordkeeper to post the latest info or what is known to be factual and what is not.

Our local station WGY Albany, starts @ Midnight, plays a repeat, sometimes an hour from the night before, and then live broadcast from 1:00 am till 5:00 am. Mostly I can only listen to the show for a minute and then have to find something else. The show is loaded with incredible subjects and guests.
