As best I can see, there is nothing further from the truth than Sarah is trying to co-opt the tea party.
This is just BS misinformation. What do you expect from a bunch of Wapo rejects?

Intresting to compare and contrast the Leftist newspeak coming out of DC this week.
In the DC bubble world, Palin listening to the Tea partiers is a “risky strategy” while the Leftists at Politico would never dream of applying that term to the vow Obama made to the Dems in DC. Odd how they never think 0 vow to keep fighting for his health care destruction bill despite the clear will of the people is a risky stategy

He spent most of 2006 learning about the U.S. Congress from the inside through an American Political Science Association fellowship that let him work on the staffs of two House committees.

I read every story I see with "Palin" in the headline, and pay close attention to her on TV/Radio...I even am linked to her Facebook and read all of her posts there, as well.
I knew she was going to speak at the Tea Party, but I have seen NOTHING to indicate that she is trying to co-op, or take over the Tea Party movement.
It's actually more like the tea party is trying to take her over and convince her to run for office. She's one of the few who meet the requirements of conservatism that the group embraces.
This is just more poop thrown on the honey pile to steam up the anti-Palin dung beetles out there.

"
But embracing the movement also has a potential downside. Not only could it drag her into the controversies and in-fighting that have swirled around the movement; it also could further alienate the independents and Democrats who were left with a sour taste from her 2008 GOP vice presidential campaign. And the chaotic collection of local groups that make up the movement may not accept her or anyone else as a leader anyway." Does this turkey live under a mushroom?
"But, if she accepts that mantel, she has to accept the risks of a movement that is so decentralized right now that there is little accountability, no rules and no clear agenda other than anger."
Yes, anger at fake Republicans!

Kenneth Vogel/Politico smears Jerome Corsi (”Obama Nation” book)
Jerome Corsi has recently released a book highly critical of BHO called “Obama Nation”. Needless to say, the usual suspects are up in arms. But, representing perhaps more the corrupt establishment in general than BHO fans in particular, Kenneth Vogel of The Politico offers the smear piece “Wild theories of ‘Obama Nation’ author”(politico.com/news/stories/0808/12526.html). Needless to say, many since-proved theories were derided as wild.

I read her op-ed this morning, and it appears to be in agreement with my view, i.e. there should be no "leader" of the Tea Party "movement" [her word]
My own belief is that the MSM wants a "leader" or "leaders" for the Tea Party so that they can utilize Alinsky's rule and 'Pick the Target [Tea Party movement], Freeze It [define it on MSM terms], Personalize It [assign a "leader" or "leaders"] and Polarize It [Strongly identify it with specific "leaders" with their media power, then proceed to attack and undermine the "leaders", thereby undermining the Tea Party movement.]
I have my own "creed" [principles] regarding this:
"I am a Tea Party member. I am a Party of One.
I choose to be led only by MY values, and to work with those who share them."

I never heard her say she wants to be their leader, nor do leaders usually require a speaking fee. (Though she will donate it back)
This is more of the press trying to go against Palin and create a negative issue if they can.

has anyone else been banned from politico? i let politico have several weeks ago, when it strting criticizing people whom voiced their opposition to Obama. Basically i criticized obama several times and I was pulled because I was not respecting the Office of the President. I simply wanted to state to them I am giving him the same respect that they gave George W. Bush, none whatsoever. Politico should change its name to Politiburo. Another arm of the Progressive/Marxist/Socialist/FauxDemocrat Party
