Im here to start working, a resolute Brown said, entering the Russell Senate Building en route to his transitional office. We have to get our office up and running ... Im here, ready to go I have a whole morning of briefings.
As for Kennedy, he faces a Republican rival who is backed by Browns top strategists.
A WPRI-12 poll shows Kennedy with a 56 percent unfavorability rating in his district. Republican challenger John J. Loughlin II, a veteran state lawmaker, entered the race yesterday.
Loughlin said Kennedy is out of touch with Rhode Island voters. We cant afford it anymore, he added.
A Kennedy spokesman declined to comment.

Love God’s timing and placement of events. Scott Brown-runs in Massachusetts - most liberal state of the union - takes Ted KENNEDY’S seat—ted kennedy being the ultimate socialist healthcare crusader —Brown’s victory halts halts healthcare socialization process RIGHT as the horrible bill was about to pass.
Here’s to SENATOR Brown. :)

Some Freepers may disagree with Brown on social issues, but is there a Freeper who can’t appreciate a new Republican Senator with some real stones? I’m starting to think this guy will earn his national profile.

He should have punched him.

“mean spirited” is a term for sissies. You can do better than that, Mr. Brown.

That picture is priceless, showing what a whimp Kennedy is when faced with a genuine American Man.. Looks like Kennedy is trying to weasel his way around his statement with some flowery words

Threaten a politician and like any cornered animal they will lash out.
I wonder why Kennedy feels threatened?

Hey Patches, this “joke” is now in the very select Senate, succeeding your own father. Would Patches ever be elected Senator from
RI? He might not even win re-election to the House! Not if those polls give us any indication.
Camelot is over! Or will totally be over once Patrick
gets defeated.

Browns whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obamas appointment to the NLRB.Big deal! It's not as if Scott Brown drove his girlfriend off a bridge, saved his own ass, and then spent the next day trying to get some political hacks to take the fall for him while the girl was drowning in a few feet of water. That, my dear product of imperfect nepotism, is the joke.
To: onyx
Was Brown really STUNG by Kennedy’s childish comments?
I doubt it.
