She studied at MIT and at Brandeis where she received a Ph.D in Neuroscience. Thus, she was both an educated and in some sense, a westernized woman. Both her Pakistani-born father and Pakistani husband are physicians who trained in the West, in England and America, respectively; her brother and sister are also highly trained professionals. Nevertheless, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui learned to hate America, hate Jews, and hate Israel right here in liberal America.
Like a small but increasing number of “westernized” Muslim women, Aafia Siddiqui joined her local mosque (in her case, the Roxbury, MA mosque [3]) and started to veil, and as she did, her ambitions became aggressively jihadic. This is not a contradiction. Obediently veiled Muslim women can be very aggressive, murderously so. They certainly police other women in savage and self-righteous ways in Iran and Indonesia. In Iraq, veiled Muslim women have blown up other Muslim female religious pilgrims [4]. And, Muslim women who were normatively spurned by their mothers were manipulated by Samira Jassim, an attentive, “loving” Iraqi mother-figure, who carefully turned them into suicide killers [5].
Women are very aggressive—but usually towards other women. I have written about this in Woman’s Inhumanity to Woman [6]. Traditionally, women do not go up against men whom they view as their potential protectors and as more powerful than they are. Ironically, Islamic jihad wishes to reverse, upend, both Nature and human evolutionary history. Just as normatively degraded mothers are “turned” into hero-mothers who publicly praise their suicide killer sons—just so, are normatively self-hating women “turned” into Al-Qaeda heroines who not only directly attack men, but who directly attack infidel male soldiers.

It is instructive also to read the interview of Nonie Darwish on the same site. Darwish says that Muslim women are regressing because they’re trying to find acceptance in their repressive, backward, violent society. However, for an American woman to embrace it suggests something else at work. She chose to “un”-assimilate, or perhaps she chose to identify more strongly with her roots in the micro-Muslim society living within our larger, free society. Perhaps there is no real explanation except that she chose evil over good.
Interesting that the article mentions the Roxbury MA Mosque.
Years ago, all the buildings in that area were seized by Emmenant Domain to build an extension of I95.Although it was a “depressed” area, Hundreds, if not thousands of homes and businesses were displaced and the corridor became a vast wasteland when the proposed highway corridor was defeated.
Years passed and the area became a terrible eyesore of vacant lots, junk, weeds, and dumps. Finally, due to public outcry, the lengthy corridor was put to use and designated to be used for Community Development that would enhance urban life. Roxbury Community College, A large Sports Complex, A new DMV Building, and other Community oriented facilities were erected on the connected parcels.
Then, lo and behold, suddenly, without notice to the abutters, and without fanfare, appeared this HUMONGOUS MOSQUE.
And now they are trying to do the same thing in Pompano Beach.
Just a side note on this appalling story.
Do you by any chance have any idea if it is possible to learn how many muslim doctors currently practice medicine in America? I’m quite curious, the Foot Hood Massacre left me astounded with all medical schools, not just with the U.S. Army.
Is it possible that although she was “smart” enough to get into MIT, that perhaps she is emotionally very immature and remains in some type of permanent adolescent rebellion state?

I have had a very hard time explaining this to libs. They FEEL that the 'extremist Muslims' are not the norm of Islam.
They feel the extremist twist Islam into their belief. They insist the extreme stuff in the Quran isn't much different then some of the extreme stuff in the Bible and it is only a 'few' that take that stuff literally.
then they call me a Nazi because they claim and this is the libs main point:
'you can not condemn a whole group for what a few do'
I point out statistics that show it is the majority of Muslims that agree with this. They claim the statistics are bias.... bla bla bla.
One of my main points that I like to make is that Islam isn’t a religion it is an ideology based on a hypothetical theocracy with the return of the caliphate. Islam’s main or over all goal is for Islam to dominate the world and the only way they can do that is for the return of the Caliphate. Libs get lost on this point, but without it the pieces of the puzzle of what Islam is doesn’t fit.
I am at a loss. any suggestions?
