It was almost funny to hear Obama criticizing people for questioning his faith - I still don’t think he’s been to church since the election, has he?
I’ve heard of evil spirits manifesting during Christian prayers. Certain spirits would have been uneasy and anxious to leave.
Has she ever talked this way at some pro-choice or feminist function?
Good Point. His prayer sent the demon[s] out the door.
He get’s messages from the Lord on his blackberry. Just announced the other day.
I see the entire family sitting around the blackberry every Sunday morning.
not.
“Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who also attended the event, spoke of her own preference of adoption over abortion and told the story of opening a home for the children of unwanted pregnancies after a visit from Mother Teresa.”
Where is this home? I would like to make a donation of money.
OK - That explains it.
Thanks for the link.
I guess I’ll have to revise my opinion of FOX a little. :)
As a diehard Bulldog fan, I couln’t stand Tebow while wearing that awful blue and orange. However...........He is a remarkable young man, both on and off the field. Go Dawgs!!
I just checked with a friend in DC who has been involved with the Prayer Breakfast pretty much from the beginning. If this was the closing prayer, then the President leaving is a security measure and has likely been done by every President who has attended. That means it was a Secret Service decision.
Honestly folks. There are more than enough reasons to disagree with the President. We don’t need to make them up.
Especially Christians
Off the subject and I will admit this is really being nit picky but have you noticed that since the Obama’s have gotten their dog, other than when he first arrived, Obama has not been seen with him or really even talks about him? It is always Michelle talking about the dog, playing, walking, etc. It is like he can’t be around him.
Muslims don’t like dogs.
Imagine having Obama and Hillary at a prayer meeting!
What god are they praying to!
I don’t think anyone is “making up” things to dislike about obama. I’m guessing we would all love to embrace some good things he’s bringing to the country. Does he deserve credit for attending the prayer breakfast in the first place? Maybe. Were his remarks nonpartisan and free from political innuendo? I don’t think so. When obama demonstrates that he’s acting in the best interests of the American people instead of consistently promoting his own political agenda, I’ll be much more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.
mmm mmm mmmuslim
My only point was that it’s silly to criticize him for leaving early. Your other questions are valid.
Time to pray the rosary at 1600 pennsylvania avenue...
Whatever's inside might just evaporate.
It still amazes us how vicious pro-abortion advocates can be, especially when they dont get their way, or sense that their cause is being threatened in a serious way.
For all their talk about respect of mothers, of choice, and of differences of opinions, none of those things apply to actual pro-life people. Or in this case, the mother of Tim Tebow.
Here is just one example. Its important for us to read this and realize the level of anger we are facing. This from Tommy Craggs at DeadSpin:
"Im guessing the Tebows ad, for spanky Jim Dobsons Focus on the Family, will extol the glories of family and motherhood and the value of children and other seemingly innocuous fare; it will also be 30 seconds of anti-abortion dog-whistling to the Christian right on a frequency somewhere beyond the range of only CBS executives. The moral, implicit or otherwise, will be: dont terminate your pregnancy; that blastocyst might turn into Tim Tebow.
"... But the Tebows message should be called for what it is, and what it is is outright quackery that doesnt differ appreciably from my going on television with a toy stethoscope and urging America to start treating itself with leeches."
Breathtaking, isnt it?
And this sort of vitriol is not even limited to individuals. As Matt Archibold points out, the Center for Reproductive Rights, in a letter to CBS, is flat-out claiming Tebows mom is a liar!
The wider audience however those who are not passionately pro-life or pro-abortion are seeing both sides of this issue for who they are, and thats always a good thing for pro-lifers.
Here at CatholicVote, we believe in supporting Tim Tebow, the brave choice of his mother, and the smart decision made by the CBS executives.
Please click here to tell CBS you support their decision to air the Tim Tebow Commercial (and tell your friends, too!)

P.S. The fact that we are talking about a successful pro-life ad airing during the Super Bowl speaks volumes about our movement. We are growing more confident and more effective every day. Anyone involved in efforts to affirm the dignity of human life should feel proud next Sunday when this ad is broadcast to hundreds of millions around the world.
