Sarah endorses INCREASING immigration with Glenn Beck:
PALIN: Let me address legal immigration and we need to continue to be so welcoming and inviting of those who are represented there by our Statue of Liberty. The immigrants, of course, built this country. And I think republicans, conservatives are at fault when we allow the other side to capture this immigration issue and try to turn this issue into something negative for republicans. I think we need to recognize that again, immigrants built this great country. There are rules to follow if you want to be a part of this great country. Let's make sure people are following the rules. But let's welcome this. When Gov. Palin endorsed Sen. John McCain, I was forgiving, because they had been part of a team. But Palin has also endorsed Sen. Lindsey Graham, the man whose hatred for conservatives and grassroots is exceeded in the Republican Party only by Sen. Arlen Specter. Oh, wait...BECK: Do you agree with me make the door wider and make it easier to bring people in, you know, Bill Gates said, I have a hard time keeping people here because it's so complex. Make, just streamline it and make it easier for people to come in the right way.
PALIN: Every part of bureaucracy needs to be streamlined, absolutely. And people do need to come in the right way. They cannot take advantage of what this country has to offer. The opportunities, the help that is here, they need to do this legally
I'm not saying Gov. Palin is evil, liberal, or statist. But I've been pleading with people to find out what she actually stands for before they stampede to someone based on their personality and/or presence. Maybe she can still be reached, but I'm developing severe concerns we may be on the threshold of lunging headlong to yet another candidate who doesn't represent the conservative viewpoint.
Again, I emphasize she's not necessarily bad, but we should find out exactly how she stands on:
She mouthed the exact talking points of the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty. She criticized conservatives for not seeming welcoming enough to aliens. And she stated that the door needs to be opened wider.
I don't know if as the vice Presidential candidate for the United States, Governor Palin endorsed Senator Graham for his reelection campaign against the Democrat opponent.
If Beck is claiming that Sarah Palin has already made an endorsement for the 2014 election cycle, then I want to see the proof!
Assimilate or go back where you came from.
I see nothing in Sarah's statement to suggest she believes otherwise. I can see where there are those who don't like her who would try to use this as a "See!!! She supports blanket AMNESTY!!!" despite her not saying anything of the sort.
I say we let everybody in who does it legally, except the Irish of course. NO Irish!
She is playing ‘The Shrewd Servant’, I think:
She cannot succeed on her own, or our behalf...for the benefit of a return to our founding principles.... with the established conservative [INO or otherwise] party arrayed against her as an enemy.
She's playing a prudent hand, I surmise,
IMO, there should be a 2 -4 year ban on ANY IMMIGRATION INTO THE US, due to our present economic situation. Id like to see a candidate that had the balls to support that.
Made her rep beating up oil companies, pro juan pro graham. SP is a pro life liberal.
I see people jumping on the bandwagon and absolutely worshipping this woman...and this after we made fun of the libs for worshipping Obama! Can’t we stand back a little and look at what Palin actually stands for? Yeah, she’s pretty; yeah, she shoots guns, whatever. But let’s keep our heads about us! She wants amnesty, just like McCain and Bush.
Amen to that! If it weren’t for legal immigration, Those folks bashing Palin on the issue, wouldn’t be. If they existed at all, It’d be somewhere else, eh? My great-grandparents came here from Switzerland.
Which Republican would you consider conservative and/or a viable candidate in 2012?
That’s a great thread title for your vanity, you stinking troll.
I do too. I want the US to be THE destination for hard-working, freedom-loving people from all parts of the world.
Careful. That kinda talk might have someone hitting the abuse button on you again. ;-)
I have noticed on here that a lot of people really like Mrs. Palin. Could someone explain the main reasons why she is so popular as a political leader? I know she is attractive, and that she believes a lot of good things, but the same could be said for a lot of conservative women. Why is Mrs. Palin the choice to lead us?
“SP is a pro life liberal.”
And you’re hysterical.

She was pretty emphatic about ‘legal’/following the rules’. We’ve always had ‘legal’ immigration and have standards regarding passing citizenship.
Disappointed in YOUR reading comprehension.
I wrote, “Again, I emphasize she’s not necessarily bad, but we should find out exactly how she stands on ‘Normalizing’ the status of illegal immigrants.”
I also noted the reasons for concern that she isn’t merely talking about legal immigration, but also an amnesty: She’s endorsed the two architects of the amnesty. Legalizing illegal aliens is NOT the same thing as talking about legal immigration, and she’s using the very same weasel words Kennedy, Reid, Pelosi, Graham and McCain used when they denied that their amnesty was an amnesty.
>> She was pretty emphatic about legal/following the rules. <<
Actually, she used the same exact language as McCain, Graham, Reid, Pelosi, Bush and Kennedy.
Glad you aren’t a founding father for this country, guess you wouldn’t have let my grandparents in. Who came here legally, learned the language, fought in American wars, and became productive members of society. Why don’t you go find yourself a private island. Everything I see Sarah talking about is LEGAL immigration.
