Sarah endorses INCREASING immigration with Glenn Beck:
PALIN: Let me address legal immigration and we need to continue to be so welcoming and inviting of those who are represented there by our Statue of Liberty. The immigrants, of course, built this country. And I think republicans, conservatives are at fault when we allow the other side to capture this immigration issue and try to turn this issue into something negative for republicans. I think we need to recognize that again, immigrants built this great country. There are rules to follow if you want to be a part of this great country. Let's make sure people are following the rules. But let's welcome this. When Gov. Palin endorsed Sen. John McCain, I was forgiving, because they had been part of a team. But Palin has also endorsed Sen. Lindsey Graham, the man whose hatred for conservatives and grassroots is exceeded in the Republican Party only by Sen. Arlen Specter. Oh, wait...BECK: Do you agree with me make the door wider and make it easier to bring people in, you know, Bill Gates said, I have a hard time keeping people here because it's so complex. Make, just streamline it and make it easier for people to come in the right way.
PALIN: Every part of bureaucracy needs to be streamlined, absolutely. And people do need to come in the right way. They cannot take advantage of what this country has to offer. The opportunities, the help that is here, they need to do this legally
I'm not saying Gov. Palin is evil, liberal, or statist. But I've been pleading with people to find out what she actually stands for before they stampede to someone based on their personality and/or presence. Maybe she can still be reached, but I'm developing severe concerns we may be on the threshold of lunging headlong to yet another candidate who doesn't represent the conservative viewpoint.
Again, I emphasize she's not necessarily bad, but we should find out exactly how she stands on:
Comes with the territory. ;-)
I think that is why I used the words “new found” and “kindred soul”, either way they went bye bye.
That is correct. You weren’t talking about Indians per se, but if immigrants didn’t build this country, it’s only natural that one would conclude that you suggest Native Americans, in part, helped build our political/societal structure.
Why do you assume you’re not speaking to a Native American? Furthermore, your typical liberal “race” baiting is about as weak as an Obama “pitch”.
Naturally, you’re trying to deflect here because you can’t back up your groundless argument. So now you’re floundering and resorting to race baiting and “truth and freedom”.
Just as I suspected, you can’t present a compelling argument to substantiate your previous comment.
>> What is wrong with legal immigration then? <<
20 million unemployed Americans.
I never said Sarah is less than what I want. I’m one of her biggest rah-rahs on FR. Please do some research, k? Or just check my profile page.
Stick your head back in the sand, dude. Mine was a simple statement..WE ARE NOT A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS. And don’t throw your liberal label at me just because you deny history.
Bring ‘em all in! You don’t have ONE prospective candidate for 2012 that doesn’t want amnesty, no matter how you cloak it. BE PROUD!!!! And if you were born here YOU are a NATIVE AMERICAN. A damn squishy one.
I’m done. When so called ‘conservatives’ can’t see reality, it’s over. The country is dead, thanks to the likes of you.
BTW..again ....the COLONISTS were BORN here.. THEY were not immigrants!

Get a clue
SarahPAC donated $65,000 to more than a dozen candidates in 2009, including
conservatives like Reps. Michele Bachmann (Minnesota) and Marsha Blackburn (Tennessee) and Sens. Tom Coburn (Oklahoma) and John Thune (South Dakota).
SarahPAC recipients Charles Grassley (Iowa) and Jim DeMint (South Carolina)
God bless you and may the light of Heaven shine upon you.
they probably are
when a good, honest woman with a TRACK RECORD of bringing down corruption and fixing budget problems gets derailed by FREEPERS we are in serious trouble
I can understand your suspicious of Bush 43, given his lineage. While there was a lot not to like about him, the fact is he was much better than his father on taxes, as good or better on national security and much better on judges, all important issues to me.
Sorry, I can't take seriously an argument that Palin is a RINO. Go very far to her right and you're in fringe territory, where we could manage to lose even in a very bad year for Democrats. If you want Obama for eight years, though, I guess that's where you go.
Making the process easier for legal immigrants is hardly a radical idea. You really need to stop hanging on every word and article concerning conservatives. All this paranoia is self-defeating.
RKBA and Property Rights are my two big hot button topics. Closely followed by "acts of Capitalism between consenting Adults". Also known as free markets.
Bush was lame re: RKBA. He even got rid of Ashcroft just when he was starting to make some good noises about RKBA (http://www.joebrower.com/RKBA/RKBA_FILES/GOV_DOCS/Ashcroft_NRA_letter_010517.pdf). I didn't like Ashcroft's stance on naked statuary, but he was good from an RKBA stance.
All that's a bit of a side trip on this thread though... Back to the fun. ;-)
1.An original settler or founder of a colony.
2. An inhabitant of a colony.
a group of people who settle in a distant land but remain under the political jurisdiction of their native land
*shakes head*
Yup, Some of the random crap posters don’t think their posts will be researched. Surprise.
So you want to claim that Palin has endorsed for the 2014 elections already and now you say that you can’t find any conservatives for her PAC donations.

It doesn’t take some people much to get their pants in a knot.Ya know Rush even mentioned too many Americans vote with their emotions rather than their heads. Might you be one?
I’m all for people getting excited about their candidate, I love it when Sarah gives the whacks she does to those in power...and I love it that she is indeed dancing the political foxtrot with more skill than most. Perhaps your understanding of the political dance is a bit limited.
She is unpredictable in her moves which keeps the demos on their toes. SHe’s like a prize fighter in the ring now...and a joy to watch. She took her punches and then some in that first round...now she knows the game and she is kicking butt.
You know where she stands. She has declared this many times. Her history supports this. Now let her do what she is doing so well even if you can’t understand...and I don’t think that you do.
I continue to use Jim Robinsons question he posted when I first came to FR,...”If not Sarah Palin, then who?” So come on...get with the program and look at the larger picture..please.
