Sarah endorses INCREASING immigration with Glenn Beck:
PALIN: Let me address legal immigration and we need to continue to be so welcoming and inviting of those who are represented there by our Statue of Liberty. The immigrants, of course, built this country. And I think republicans, conservatives are at fault when we allow the other side to capture this immigration issue and try to turn this issue into something negative for republicans. I think we need to recognize that again, immigrants built this great country. There are rules to follow if you want to be a part of this great country. Let's make sure people are following the rules. But let's welcome this. When Gov. Palin endorsed Sen. John McCain, I was forgiving, because they had been part of a team. But Palin has also endorsed Sen. Lindsey Graham, the man whose hatred for conservatives and grassroots is exceeded in the Republican Party only by Sen. Arlen Specter. Oh, wait...BECK: Do you agree with me make the door wider and make it easier to bring people in, you know, Bill Gates said, I have a hard time keeping people here because it's so complex. Make, just streamline it and make it easier for people to come in the right way.
PALIN: Every part of bureaucracy needs to be streamlined, absolutely. And people do need to come in the right way. They cannot take advantage of what this country has to offer. The opportunities, the help that is here, they need to do this legally
I'm not saying Gov. Palin is evil, liberal, or statist. But I've been pleading with people to find out what she actually stands for before they stampede to someone based on their personality and/or presence. Maybe she can still be reached, but I'm developing severe concerns we may be on the threshold of lunging headlong to yet another candidate who doesn't represent the conservative viewpoint.
Again, I emphasize she's not necessarily bad, but we should find out exactly how she stands on:
Retread? Dang. And here I was trying to be nice to it. Oh well...
Are you kiddin?...
The RonPaulBot and the MittWitts are getting the same liberal marching orders.
They want to make sure Obama has a 2nd term.
“A very dishonest statement. One of my ancestors that fought in the Revolution came here in 1738. He was a BRITISH SUBJECT. There were NO Americans yet.”
Yes, there WERE Americans...they were born here, this was their country and THEY wrote the declaration. Yes, they were ‘British subjects’ and they did away with it! You missed the point of the revolution, didn’t you...the right of self determination of a free people. I’m glad your ancestor ‘got it’.
It’s best to be kind until one knows who they are addressing. I tell a lot of people about FR. I know that they read but never asked if they joined.
I have no idea. Just looked like a snot nosed troll with an attitude to me. Got the treatment I’m about this “||” close to doling out to some long term snot nosed trolls around here.
Don’t forget the Newtbots. They’re out for blood since Sarah endorsed the real conservative on NY23, and made Newt to look like the idiot he is.
My ancestor was born in Germany. He was an IMMIGRANT.
She’s playing a prudent hand, I surmise

It ‘s more helpful if your ideological adversaries in your party are somewhat indebted to you. Graham isn’t running in 2010, so there is no endorsement, more likely her donation is to repay something that happened in the 2008 race. Politicians do help each other.
We are at a time in the 2012 campaign where candidates are helping candidates that they believe will be elected and gathering chits that will be redeemed later in the campaign in 2012 and hopefully later. Sarah has a lot of clout and she should collect a lot of chits to be redeemed when appropriate.
Sarah knows how to get around opposition within her own party and to play them like a fiddle. Sit back and watch a master in action.
How original. And predictable.
Why can’t handle the existing illegals and we can’t stop them from coming here but we need to allow more legal immigrants when we don’t enforce the existing laws in the first place? Wow.
*misharu jots down Man50D’s name on her ok to ignore list*
Did you see post 22, and will you post the reporting of her having made an endorsement for a race, a half a decade into the future?
Well you are a mitt fan are you not?
As for this, she's drawing a fine line to separate the issues of immigration and illegal immigration. Being against the illegals != hate immigrants, as the left tries to paint it.
Actually you do have a lot more patience than I do. I could not run a site like this and do it well. I really do admire you. I have a forum setup and never opened it. I know my limitations.
That's an easy one. His name is John Thune and he is smartly standing in the shadows just enough to be out of the spotlight so he won't be over-exposed when the time comes.
No. No, she did not. Read it again. She criticized repubs and conservatives for allowing liberals to frame the debate and twist the issues. And that IS a totally valid concern. And not just on immigration. Repubs are chronically behind the curve on these critical communications strategies, always playing catch-up. The liberals have gotten this down to a science. Up is down and down is up. Good Lord, they've managed to so twist perceptions that they rewrote hostiory to "become" the party of civil rights--when it was Republicans that freed the slaves and got civil rights legislation passed. Dems fought it and blocked it, and to this day have their very own KKK bigoted mascot (D-WV)sitting in the senate.
Palin is absolutely right to call on conservatives to seize back the language and deny democrats their illegitimate propaganda.
You manage to leave out this line from the Larson interview EVERY time, why is that?? She suggests ‘a pathway to citizenship every time! If they stay IT IS AMNESTY, whether you like it or not.
“Palin: .... to not allow this generous amnesty that the Democrats are proposing.”
AND she has stated, over and over that she agrees with the McCAin amnesty!
PALIN: . We - our policy - John McCain has been so clear with his policy and it makes a lot of sense too. We secure our borders first. But then with a comprehensive approach we must deal humanely with those who are here, and we must allow the steps to be taken to protect the families of those who are here, maybe as illegal immigrants today.....

Yet ANOTHER "Sarah's Disappointed Me" VANITY.
