A key Senate Republican came out swinging today against the idea of passing just an energy bill and ignoring President Obama's call to also cap greenhouse gas emissions.
"It's the 'kick the can down the road' approach," said Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. "It's putting off to another Congress what really needs to be done comprehensively. I don't think you'll ever have energy independence the way I want until you start dealing with carbon pollution and pricing carbon. The two are interconnected."

I don't think you'll ever have energy independence the way I want... Can't you just hear the ego swelling in this incredible statement?
the way I want...
Graham should go and have some impossible self-sex.

"needs to be done comprehensively"
This is the language of the totalitarian.
These words precede almost every legislative initiative that assaults the concept of limited government. Whether it be "comprehensive" trade, immigration, health care, energy, or any other policy initiative.
The effortlessness with which the left has co-opted the term "energy policy" to merge into the term "carbon limits" is frightening. The entire premise of the argument is absurd on its face. The argument is that if we create sanctions against carbon based energy to make it so expensive that "alternative" energy becomes viable - then we won't import so much carbon based fuels.
I must thank Rahm Emanuel for desensitizing the public to the use of the term of how fkng rtrded that is.
duh, no such energy form exists but duh, if we deny the use of this one somebody will invent one.

They’re clearly blackmailing him with photos of his gay hijinks.
To: rabscuttle385
If Lindsey Graham isnt gay he missed a good chance. Of course he is confused about all other things. How he was elected is a mystery.
This joker actually believes carbon influences the climate more than the sun. LOL

Pansy was a federal prosecutor. He’s not that dumb. But he thinks his constituents are.

Someone had better investigate who Lindsey is sleeping with, he’s irrational on this. It has to be either someone he’s sleeping with or someone is holding his mother hostage. He sounds like he’s in a panic.

Is someone blackmailing this guy?Don't know. Does he own any carbon credits?
Sometimes I feel like just saying "Lord forgive him, because he knows not what he does".
But that's on my charitable days. Most of my days are not charitable.
The whole AGW fraud is falling apart, and as someone said, he doubles down.
