Dale Robertson, No Friend of Ours
Pajamas Media ^ | Feb. 4 | Andrew Ian Dodge

Houston has a problem.

Rather, the Houston tea party groups have a problem — a character named Dale Robertson. He is a self-appointed “leader” of the tea party movement, most famous for carrying a sign at the 3/27 tea party in Houston with the word “niggar” on it.

Not surprisingly, he was asked to leave.

Unfortunately, the press seems to find him newsworthy. He continues to show up in mass media professing to be the “founder” of the tea party movement.

So who exactly is this guy?.....

When the American people stood up.....they should have NEVER had a leader. Period. I also didn’t like the fact that politicians seemed to be ‘attaching’ themselves to the movement. NO LEADERS! PERIOD!!!! Just WE THE PEOPLE. This is what made the ‘anonymous’ movement so successful on the net. Leaderless. JMO.

This guy is a poser. He obviously is a plant. Tea Partiers are not interested skin color, we are interested in protecting and securing the blessing of liberty in our country from without and within. The Marxist president we have now just happens to be biracial. I would hate him if he was lily white. Not because of his skin color, it’s because of his Marxist beliefs and how he is using them to hurt and eventually destroy our country. Thank God for November 2010. Payback is coming and it’s going hurt.

.....just like the "progressives", you EXPOSE him, we EXPOSE him...BEFORE the media tries to use him. When people ask about him you say he was outted as a racist long before the media tried to use him...that leaves them with noting to use.

>most famous for carrying a sign at the 3/27 tea party in Houston with the word “niggar” on it.

I thought it was spelled ‘nigger.’ Let’s see what dictionary.com has to say:
niggar - no dictionary results

nigger –noun
1. Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive.
a. a black person.
b. a member of any dark-skinned people.
2. Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive. a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc.
3. a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by blacks; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised.

...so, if you’re going to be a racist, at least spell your offensive/insulting language correctly!

I'm pretty sure I remember a sports columnist in the Houston Post named Dale Robertson.

I wonder if this is the same guy?

this line from the article says it all-

Mr.Robertson clearly enjoys his time in the limelight. He does not seem to care how he got there or what kind of damage he is doing to the movement he professes to lead.

He is definitely a “plant.”
Stinkweed I believe.

This guy sounds like the “minister” of that “church” who protests at military funerals. The Left uses him constantly to discredit Christians.

Dan Patrick. I didn’t catch but a couple of minutes about him (and was turning it off as they got to talking about the sign, it was the first I’d heard of it).

Actually now I think it was Monday afternoon.

Anyway Dan (a State Representative, for those who don’t know) was speaking out firmly against such signage and asking him what his intentions were.

Whether he meant any harm to the movement with his sign or not, it is a lightning rod for the wrong kind of attention.

The basic message that socialism is slavery to the state is not wrong but the slaves in the Soviet Union and elsewhere under the shackles of Communism weren’t of any particular color (such slave labor camps exist in Asia as well) and there is no derogatory term ascribed to those enslaved.

Hi, AJ. You did a fine job of posting. I can’t seem to post an article from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram and a poll they have on their site. Can you send me a private email with posting procedure. I had everything filled in but it never gave me a preview and kept saying there was no such “topic” no matter which ones I selected.

The poll asked Republican voters who they would vote for today (Feb. 2) for Governor and Medina was winning with more than twice the votes for Perry and Hutchinson combined.

I sure could use the help in posting if you have the time.Thanks.

Isn’t it OBVIOUS who this guy is? He is a hack employed by the Left to infiltrate the Tea Party movement and then by his actions bring discredit to the movement.

Why anyone within the Tea Party would allow this guy near any meeting is beyond me.

Something Fishy

"..One Dale Robertson has purchased DBA names for, among other things, Houston Tea Party, Texas Tea Party, Houston, TX Tea Party, and on and on. But what really interests me is the next page:....

A pattern begins to emerge, one of a man bent on either controlling the names available for current movements in Harris County, or on extorting money from the leaders of these grassroots movements. Apparently we irritated him when we registered the name Houston Tea Party SOCIETY, because he didn’t think to get that one. I hear he is offering to sell the rights to the names to leaders of these movements......

So, purportedly a self-described member of a movement that’s against sleazy opportunistic politicians is presenting himself as a sleazy opportunistic non-politician? .."

He looks like a self promoter trying to line his pockets by glomming onto the Tea Party movement.

There was some opportunist on local talk radio (740 or 950 if I recall) taking out ads for “impeach Obama” t-shirts as soon as he was sworn in.
