Andrew Sullivan hits new low in attacking Palin By: Mark Hemingway Commentary Staff Writer 02/03/10 2:18 PM EST
At what point does Andrew Sullivan's derangement over Sarah Palin and his bizarre conspiracy theories about how her son was really birthed by her daughter become an issue for an otherwise respectable publication such as The Atlantic? If his employers don't take action over this blog post of his, then we're totally through the looking glass:
The medical term for Down Syndrome is Trisomy-21 or Trisomy-g. It is often shortened in medical slang to Tri-g.
Is it not perfectly possible that the very name given to this poor child, being reared by Bristol, is another form of mockery of his condition, along with the "retarded baby" tag? And does the way in which this poor child was hauled around the country on a book tour, being dragged out in front of flash photographs in the middle of the night, barely clothed, suggest someone who actually cares for children with special needs, or rather sees them as a way to keep the spotlight on her?
C'mon, Levi. Write that book. Expose this fraud.
Yes, Sarah Pailn clearly meant to mock her child's disability with his name. In other news, Sullivan's recreational habits are clearly interfering with his job. He's become the Gilbert Arenas of political journalism.

Maybe it’s not so much that he hates Sarah but that he likes Levi

I started ignoring Sullivan a long time ago.
I don’t know which revelation is more shocking - that Andrew Sullivan is still alive, or that the Atlantic is still being published.
God forgive me, but I hope the wages of Andrew Sullivan's sins take him to Hell sooner rather than later.
Maybe he hates Sarah Palin because he’s afraid she could be elected president in 2012. That she would give us the encouragement we need to clean up obama’s mess. The encouragement we need to pay off obama & the dems massive debt they’ve inslaved us with. And the encouragement we need to help us save the free America our four fathers left us with.
Maybe he’s just afraid that America wont fail because Sarah Palin’s influence helped us stand up to those who are trying to pulling her down.
The punishments of hell do vary depending on the depths of your depravity and rebellion.
My guess is that Sullivan’s blog is daily reading for Palin’s lawyers. He slips up once, and Sarah will own his sorry a$$.
If Andrew Sullivan wrote those types of columns about my family, I would drive down to his neck of the woods, wait until he leaves, and beat the hell out of him.
You just don't attack families like that. I don't care if it's the Palin family, Romney family, Obama family, Bush family, McCain family, or Clinton family. Kids should be off limits.
Either way, he's a sad little man who mistakes attention for achievement.
Andrew Sullivan needs to join Keith Olbermann....in the nut house. The only question here is, which of the 2 is a bigger psychopath.
