Good move, after all this chatter about Obamacare being on the “five yard line”.

Good! Now the Repubs need to come out in force to support him.

Should be “People Demand that Brown be Seated.” He was elected, right?

Go, Scott!
The Mass. Secretary of State turned in the finalized certification papers this morning. Why the hell should he (and we) have to wait another nine days?

Apparently this young'un does not know his place. The 0 has not yet asked that he take his seat. This serf needs to be taught a lesson.

at least, if they can’t seat him until next Thursday, the Kennedy placeholder should be immediately retired. Kirk ? is no longer the duly elected rep. of Mass (never was actually but that’s beside this point.)

I thought I read on here earlier today that they had decided to swear him in tomorrow rather than the 11th.

If the Dems refuse to seat him he should seek an injunction ordering them to do so and enjoining them from holding any votes until he is seated. Of course, the Senate can disregard the injunction from the Supreme Court but that would further corrode their position with the electorate.
