What is the goal of the Pro-life march?
1) If it is to attract the attention of the politicians then maybe have a million people show up in Washington, D.C. is the correct move.
2) If the motive to attract the attention of the press, then they should march in New York City right on the doorsteps of the major networks. ( This also may be a better way to get the politicians to notice as well)
What's the goal here? To have a good time? To meet old friends and have a party? Or...Is it to work hard and SMART?
Please remember that when the Iron Curtain fell the first sites secured were the TV and radio stations. These freedom fighters understood that their first and most important mission was to get the news out to the people.

I’m not surprised at all. They’ve minimized the numbers every year since the very first March!

Only the Washington Post columnist Robert McCartney, admittedly pro-abortion, stated that the crowds were young (much to his chagrin) in his piece, Young activists adding fuel to anti-abortion side. There were indeed thousands upon thousands of young people there. I like to think they will have the last laugh in this "battle of wills" with the media. Think of all those excited teenagers rushing home to see if they catch of glimpse of themselves on TV or checking the websites of every network they can think of, only to find that there is a complete blackout of coverage and that their political activism is deliberately censored by the MSM. They all got a very quick lesson in media bias that weekend, and they won't forget it.

After not going in about 6 or 7 yrs. I went this year and couldnt believe the large crowd and heard that there were over 300,000 - 400,000 people there. I met freepers there the last time I went when the march was held at the ellipse: tolerance sucks rocks, angelwood, kristin, pyro7480 and mudpuppy...I was glad to meet them... It was nice to see so many young people there (our next generation of pro-life activists). Notice there were no riots, no garbage after the event and the local stores werent robbed as in other events held in DC, like the 50,000 man march and by other groups that attended the inauguration..
Did any other freepers go? Can you post some pictures? We used to meet at a monument when the MFL was at the ellipse, now the March starts at a different location at 7th and Constitution.
