What a beautiful sight!

Please freepmail me if you want on/off this list
A beautiful sight indeed.
1) If it is to attract the attention of the politicians then maybe have a million people show up in Washington, D.C. is the correct move.
2) If the motive to attract the attention of the press, then they should march in New York City right on the doorsteps of the major networks. ( This also may be a better way to get the politicians to notice as well)
What's the goal here? To have a good time? To meet old friends and have a party? Or...Is it to work hard and SMART?
Please remember that when the Iron Curtain fell the first sites secured were the TV and radio stations. These freedom fighters understood that their first and most important mission was to get the news out to the people.
Leticia absolutely rocks for life! I see her name and it makes me smile.:) Thanks for posting this thread. My daughter was at the March for Life in Washington as well, and here are a few of the images she took. Click on the first one and you can view a slideshow. My brother-in-law, who is a Roman Catholic priest went to this march years ago, and came back to tell us all about it. We had no idea at the time it was going on. Now we watch EWTN's coverage every year. I can only imagine what Christ will be uttering to the media fools that refuse to air these types of numbers "for life."

"WASHINGTON As some 20,000 people marched along F Street in Northwest D.C. after the Youth Rally and Mass for Life Jan. 22, Rebecca Ferguson, 14, observed that everyone has a reason for marching."
With friends like this, who needs the liberal media?
Exactly! What a joke! 20,000! Christ sees the actual numbers. He doesn’t need any media source to fill Him in. I sometimes imagine Him deciding which way He’s going to take care of a particular situation, but take care of it He will, in His time. I can’t wait though!
L'Observablahblahtio is a real buddy.
I wouldn't be surprised if the March doubled every year The Abortion President was in office.
He will not get away without eating his words.
I’m not surprised at all. They’ve minimized the numbers every year since the very first March!
Another important goal of the March, is just to be reinforced in your pro-life beliefs. It's all too easy to become flaccid about your support for the pro-life position if everyone around you is pro-abortion. Being with so many others who share your beliefs gives you strength to work for Life when you return home.
50 million pro-life marchers would still not get media attention. A handful of gay marriage marchers, however, would make front page.
There were indeed thousands upon thousands of young people there. I like to think they will have the last laugh in this "battle of wills" with the media. Think of all those excited teenagers rushing home to see if they catch of glimpse of themselves on TV or checking the websites of every network they can think of, only to find that there is a complete blackout of coverage and that their political activism is deliberately censored by the MSM. They all got a very quick lesson in media bias that weekend, and they won't forget it.
Did any other freepers go? Can you post some pictures? We used to meet at a monument when the MFL was at the ellipse, now the March starts at a different location at 7th and Constitution.
March for Life, Roe vs. Wade Rally Disrupting Traffic in DC
Pro-life marchers flood D.C. in protest of legalized abortion (another MSM blackout)
Twenty thousand?? LOL! We had more than that in the Verizon Center before the march! And all the overflow Masses were full, too!
There were, as there have been for some years, hundreds of thousands of folks at the march. How many hundreds of thousands? I don't know. But I was near the back of the march this year (argh) and when I got up to the top of Constitution Avenue and looked back, the avenue was still filled as far as I could see. I'd estimate there were a hundred thousand folks BEHIND me. No idea how many in front of me.

Sad they keep employing certain people. The catholic review also employed a guy that gave “the golden compass” high praise.
BTTT!
Thank you for the kind word, mlizzy!
I hate to have the efforts of hundreds of thousands put down by one of our own!
We could be in the CNN building and they’d be covering the six pro-aborts in DC...
