On Monday’s CBS Early Show, co-host Harry Smith introduced a bizarre story designed to show how desperate the situation is for people lacking health insurance: “A California woman has launched a unique online search for a husband. Not for love, but for health care.”

If she was willing to play for the other team, there are some companies that give benefit coverage to the unmarried domestic partners (roommates) of homosexual employees.

Michael Moore did a skit on that theme in ‘Sicko’. Not original.
Maybe this is a bright side to uninsured. Promote marriage. Here in MD same sex partners have to be provided their domestic partners insurance as if married.

One of the news interviews I seen with her she said she decided to do it when Scott Brown won - because he dashed all hopes she would ever get any help. Made me want to hurl.

Classic Hypochondriac
On that same news interview I saw she showed the box containing all the medication bottles she took. The box was twice the size of a shoe box. This woman has more problems than no husband and no health insurance.
