Rasmussen is legit as they come. His outfit polls everyday. The haloed one is still down in the overall and his numbers are even in Gallup. If anything helped him it was the GOP reps pathetic performance in Baltimore. Obama ate their lunch, and he wasn’t very good either. That’s how bad the House GOP looked and sounded.
Odumbocare has died and now people can start liking him again until he does or says something stupid which will be shortly
Weekend POlling is always widely oversamples Dems .
No legit firm does a weekend poll unless they want to oversample Dems.
I see this idiot’s polls swing pro Dem every single weekend.
I lost respect for this clown when his only Brown poll showed Coakley AHEAD !
I’ll have a double scotch while you’re up, please.
I never drink before 11:00 AM but in this case I’ll join you. :(
Rasmussen’s poll is taken every day (except certain holidays) around 9:00 pm. The morning result is a three-day rolling total of responses.
no need to panic.
He is still at 49% basically where he has been for months. The only thing that has changed is that he temporarily rev’d up his base with his speech.
But next week when they are still unemployed, their car is getting repo’d, and their house is being foreclosed on the shine will wear off the SOTU speech.
you need to put down the pipe.
Socialism/Communism/Big Government has never delievered, if central planning worked, the USSR would of been the greatest, richest, most advanced country the world has ever known.
Instead it’s in the ashbin of history, and soon Obama will be too.
“you need to put down the pipe.”
Or, more likely, you need to remove your blinders.
Threads like these attract the dumbest and most knee jerk reactions.
SORU bounce.
Aslso, the Kenyan always polls better on weekends while Republicans are at church.
There is a populist surge out there which he can tap by promising to provide jobs and to smack the banks around.
Apparently he is doing so, at least until it is shown that he can’t deliver on his promises.
This tells me that too many Americans are swayed by speech over substance. Sad.
He has been at around 49% for months, the only thing that has changed is he rev’d up his base a bit with his speech. Reality will eventually set back in, and his “strongly approve” number will sink again.
Words don’t pay the bills.
Until he can “heal the planet and turn back the seas” like he promised his numbers will stay below 50.
ROFL and that’s likely to happens, just after the sun stops shinning! ROFL
I think 3 years out it was very helpful, we now know the types of arguments he will make during the debates in 2012 and we will have years to prepare stinging rebukes.
Better to be caught off guard now, than in 2012.
And if he attacks the banks, they will just cut lending and or get more aggressive with collections to make up the difference, which will drive the economy even further into the ditch.
Trust me, he can't ride the populist tiger in this environment.
It’s all Rasmussen’s fault! Time to shoot the messenger!
Talk is cheap.
Nothing has improved.
People are stupid.
He's merely made his base more enthusiastic. That's not great, but it's not a huge turn-around. It's his followers getting a second wind.
How long it lasts is another question.
