Why is this garbage? Because I espouse something you don't believe? Is that fair? Is that what conservatives believe (I am)? Others have no right to their spiritual beliefs?

Here's a central problem for Islam: Mohammad is the Perfect Man, whose behavior is held to be an example for all Muslims to follow:

Quran chapter 33 verse 21, three translations

YUSUFALI: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
PICKTHAL: Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much.
SHAKIR: Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.

Mo is the "exemplar". And who was Mo? He was a sand pirate, a man who made his living from robbing caravans and sacking towns and cities. He was a murderer, a rapist, and a pedophile. By modern standards he was a psychopath.

This is the Islamic Perfect Man.
