"I have some juicy dirt about the Tea Party Express"

The other day I received an email from a friend who had heard some false and malicious attacks against the Tea Party Express. He was concerned and wrote me to ask about it because I've been a part of the Tea Party Express since its inception last year.

When I was talking to the rest of our team about this email I found out that most everyone else had been approached by someone asking them similar questions about a whole range of rumors, accusations, allegations, smears and mischaracterizations of what we at the Tea Party Express are supposedly about.

Seems our friends in the liberal blogs and media outlets (including MSNBC, Media Matters, Huffington Post, TPM Muckracker, Mother Jones, and others) have been doing all sorts of attack hit pieces criticizing the tea party movement as a whole and the Tea Party Express in particular.

And the odd part is, these attacks against the Tea Party Express have made me smile.

The MSM has done a very effective job of casting the Tea Parties in a bad light. Every liberal I know has a very extreme view of the parties.

The State run media is casting everyone that attends as right wing extremist, and they believe it.

it's just another, typical, jabba, jabba, jabba mouth attack from the left; no one is listening except other lefties.

If you're liberal friends are ridiculing and making tea party jokes, then that just shows that they are typical lefty robots who dutifully read their daily talking points and obey....obey.....obey.....

I have taken the stance that I will have NO liberal friends; if they are liberals and followers of obamaTATOR, then they too, are traitors to the country that I love. The liberal establishment started taking the Tea Party movement seriously when Scott Brown won in Massachusetts. That crossed a line that the elitists couldn’t ignore. After all, a common person was now in “Teddy’s Seat”. Teddy’s Seat! How dare they!

Now here come the attacks. Its predictable.

Right on! Herd those cats! When the FreeRepublic.com was in it activist phase, during the Clinton years, with the March for Justice, and the Inaugural Balls, we had disagreements about approaches to these things as well. That is when “Clinton's a Liar” moved on to different things. So this stuff is normal, but exaggerated by a hostile Lame Stream Media.
