Sixteen hours before he was found dead, city School Board President Michael W. Scott got a Sunday-morning call from a top aide to Mayor Daley to schedule a meeting about questionable expenses that Scott and his staff had charged to board credit cards.

Scott had a 13-minute conversation with mayoral press secretary Jacquelyn Heard starting at 11:01 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, according to police reports obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times about Scott's suicide.

Scott goes to the office of a real estate developer regarding Scott's monthly fee for consulting on projects. Scott is told the consulting contract is void, according to reports from the Chicago Police Department, which blacked out the names of everyone who was interviewed.

He also was in the spotlight after the Chicago Tribune disclosed he tried to help West Side ministers develop city-owned land near a proposed Douglas Park Olympic venue. Scott insisted he'd made no money and wasn't using his Chicago 2016 role to line his pockets.

Sort of reminds me of Arkansas under Bill Clinton--such a plethora of inconvenient deaths--inconvennient for the victims, er dead people, and law enforcement, but SOOO darn convenient for Slick and Shrill .
