In a face-to-face encounter, President Barack Obama chastised Republican lawmakers Friday for opposing him on health care, economic stimulus and other major issues.
Republicans pushed back on taxes and spending, and accused Obama of not taking their ideas seriously.

Obama whined and lectured, I doubt he heard a thing they said
Why should they?
As soon as it becomes obvious (even to Democrats) that things are getting worse rather than better they will blame the Republicans.
Obstruct them as much as possible, wear the brand “Party of NO proudly”
All the more reason for Republicans to tell him to get lost.
With Obama’s “record” ...I’m surprised the Republicans even showed up ... what a waste of time.
Obama came in and lectured them....and by the end of the Q&A he was angry.

As Beck showed on his program yesterday, the problem is not Republicans, (they are under his momma’s sink ;-D). It is Democrats vs Commie Democrats(progressives).
The answer I would give:
“Why do you need us to work with you? After all, you won.”
Well, of course he would. He was adamant when he ordered the Dems to work with Republicans.
Hey, wait a sec...that wasn't him. Never mind...
When did the democrats ever give Bush a break? Obama has some brass stones, that’s fersure.
I wonder if he used a TelePrompTer.
Obama is a complete waste of time.
Pretty obvious this “Journalists” simply rewrote the White House press release instead of actually going to the event. This guy clearly did not see the event in person or he is a class AAA liar.
He couldn’t get the dem votes and somehow that’s the fault of the republicans.
He’s whining, lying, and playing the blame Bush game.
The dems were in charge of congress since 2006. It’s their budget. Their spending. Their budget busting ideas.
More theater. Even with Brown, he could get anything he wanted if his agenda wasn’t causing certain Dems to fear for their seats. So, he goes out to talk to Republicans to reinforce the notion with the left that it’s somehow those nasty Republicans standing in the way. Too bad they played along and didn’t tell him to go screw.
My answer would be “No.”
In an effort to create a bi-partisan congress, lets propose a medical malpractice reform act that caps the amount of payouts for medical lawsuits and forces all litigants to pay the cost of court and defense costs if you loose your case. Its good enough for the euroweenies that they point to when they whine for healthcare, so why not adopt the euro model of tort law? Lets see if the boy-king really wants bi-partisianship or merely wishes to mix his dirty water in our clean water? I think we all know the Kenyan Kid is not realy sincere.
But the GOP needs a list of 10 things that they want Obama to pass so that whenever he says "They won't pass my legislation" they can reply "And you won't pass ours".
