Howard Zinn, an author, teacher and political activist whose leftist "A People's History of the United States" became a million-selling alternative to mainstream texts and a favorite of such celebrities as Bruce Springsteen and Ben Affleck, died Wednesday. He was 87.

Good riddence! This guy was just plain nuts.
I hope this traitorous piece of filth burns in hell.
No, when Zinn wrote his book liberals, progressives, and their "fellow-travelers" called themselves LIBERAL with impunity. It is only since their mauling in the 1994 elections that they have been looking for more "nuanced" ways to describe themselves.

BUMP!
I once read a random page from this book on the library shelf. I read one or two paragraphs and quit in disgust. It made no attempt to be like a regular history book. It was pure leftist propaganda, and that is the most used history book in the USA. That really tells you a lot about the leftist teachers who force students to buy and read that garbage. Most college humanities courses exist only to indoctrinate the kids with anti-American hatred. Such a shame.
