Unexpectedly

Are the people in this administration deaf, dumb, and blind? Who are these people?

ANOTHER unexpected!

Thus administration's inability to string all these "unexpecteds" together into a coherent conclusion is NOT unexpected at all.

The housing market has yet to reach bottom. Regardless of the hype being perpetuated by the Administration and it's media, the mortgage lenders are very aware of the truth, demonstrated by their reluctancy to make loans.

Just a wild guess here but I’m thinking new home construction was expectedly low for the same time period, unless there’s a bunch of contractors still on the “hope” wagon.

People bought homes all year long in 2009. December, they took a break for Christmas.

Nothing "unexpected" there.

It’s not unexpected that this should come as an unexpected surprise to them - you know?

Not surprising. Folks were thinking of smaller items for Christmas, not new, or existing homes.
